George Banks Ltd is a family owned company with over fifty years experience in the construction industry. The company was limited in 1957 and has grown substantially. We employ many professional tradesmen and have built strong reputations with Structural Engineers, Building Contractors, Local Authorities, House Builders, Property Developers & Insurance Companies... The Company is a family owned business and was originally formed after WWII undertaking property repair, roof tiling and rebuilding works. We then evolved to undertake major civil engineering projects in the steel works around Sheffield. We undertook large machine bases in the modernisation of many plants in the area such as Sheffield Forgemasters. Now we are able to offer all types of building works including subsidence repair, domestic/industrial extensions and alterations, building maintenance contracts, reinforced concrete and foundation works.
