Formed in 1860 we believe we are the oldest family owned Construction Company in North East England. Simon Manners, our Managing Director is the great, great grandson of our founder Thomas Manners and the company has remained in family ownership since its formation... We remain true to the same principles on which our company was founded over a hundred years ago: providing superior service to our clients, putting safety first, creating opportunities for our people, delivering exceptional work... Based in Bishop Auckland, we directly employ over 70 people, with our time served craftsmen being supported by professional and technical staff. What's more, we estimate that we support well in excess of 100 jobs through our supply chain. Having been in business since the 19th century, we have a maturity and depth of knowledge to service the needs of a modern construction industry.
