Jeremy Smith who worked in the Steiner school movement over a number of years - as education facilitator, trustee, member of the executive group of the Steiner Waldorf Schools Fellowship, and also as lay inspector for Ofsted inspections of Steiner schools. Latterly, with a passionate interest in biodynamic agriculture, he has become a trustee of land-holding charity St Anthony's Trust, director of Tablehurst Farm in Forest Row, Sussex, and part-time manager of the farm's affiliated care home. He also organises talks and workshops at Emerson College.

Hermes Trust has four Trustees and one Administrator, all of whom are well acquainted with a range of enterprises based on anthroposophy. They are:
Richard Masters (Administrator) who has spent 30 years in social finance, including stints at Charity Bank, CAF's Investors in Society, Triodos Bank, and its predecessor Mercury Provident. He studied Accounting with Computing at the University of Kent.
