Longwater Gravel Co Ltd was established in 1952 in Costessey, near Norwich, by William Littleboy, along with several business partners. By 1960, the company was owned entirely by the Littleboy family, and is still owned and operated by Will Littleboy (grandson of original founder). Longwater Gravel still has a distribution yard and an administration centre at Costessey, on what is now an industrial site where the old workings were... Horstead Quarry started in 2003 and still has up to 10 years of reserves left. We produce decorative, naturally rounded, shingles here... On a daily basis, we average over 150 collections over the 4 sites and over 30 separate deliveries. We are also open on Saturday mornings. We have been serving Norfolk with sand and gravel for over 75 years and have a wealth of experience and knowledge to help with any project or requirement.
