Andrew Mountstephens

Andrew is our Information Security Manager and has an extensive career working within the innovation of digitised document management services for large financial and government entities. He also has qualifications in GDPR and experience in many forms of governance and standards including quality, environmental, health and safety, business continuity, legal admissibility in a court of law, shredding and destruction.

Andy Michael - Chairman

Job Titles:

A qualified electronics engineer and founder director of Quiss in 1988, Andy is responsible for the strategic development and direction of the company.

Claire Buckle

Claire Buckle joined Quiss in July 2016. She joined us from an IT support background and has been working in a support management role since 2010.

Clive Taylor - Managing Director

Job Titles:

Since joining Quiss in 2003 and as our business has grown, Clive's primary role has developed, to include project management and delivery, alongside his operational management responsibilities. His core skills come to the fore when engaged in a consultative role to help clients address strategic issues with their IT systems and infrastructure or help them move their businesses forward. Our service offering continues to grow and evolve to better reflect the changing needs of our clients. The growing complexity of the solutions delivered ensures Clive is heavily involved in IT audits and the scoping of projects, prior to making recommendations for improvement. Qcloud represents a significant growth area and Clive works with our sales and technical teams to help tailor our hosting offering to the unique requirements of each client, whether it's Private, Public or a Hybrid solution that works best. Clive remains personally involved in key account management, always on hand to advise and discuss the merits or otherwise of the ever-changing technical landscape. Away from work, which isn't for too long, Clive finds just enough time for a little sport, with golf, squash and football high on his agenda. Like many of the team here in Tamworth, Clive is a Villa fan, but not enough of one to buy the club - so don't ask.

Darren Meader

Darren is a recent employee at Quiss and brings with him a wealth of experience in supporting UK and European wide companies. His experience is vast having supported numerous service desk and driving forward improvements. As per the other Bio's he has considerable experience managing service desks within regulated industries including UK blue lights, gas and UK manufacturing. He has been bought into the business to continue our drive to improve the services and support function with Quiss Technology.

David Payne

David joined Quiss in 2011 and is responsible for the provision of all pricing for the supply of hardware and software to customers in addition to providing support for engineering requirements and parts. David has extensive experience and has been involved in the IT Industry for nearly 30 years. After starting his career for ACT Pulsar back in Nov 1982 (became Apricot Computers in April 1983) David moved to the service arm of Apricot (A.C.T. Computer Support later to become Network Si Group Limited) after 5 years. We are now delighted to have David onboard sharing his expertise with all of our clients. David played basketball for many years and was even capped for England before injury forced him into retirement. He then took up the mantle of referee and has refereed teams like Birmingham Bullets, Manchester Giants along with some international games.

David Ricketts - CMO

David's love of all things marketing, branding, communications and sales goes back almost 30 years, although to look at the fresh-faced chap in the office, you'd never guess he'd been at it that long. He joined Quiss earlier this year to bring a new dynamism and client-focussed approach to our marketing efforts across all channels. He is a pragmatic marketer however, who believes all activity should ultimately lead to sales; it's about delivering what clients need, not what's easiest to do. David's penchant for learning has not only seen him add various qualifications to his original degree in Business and Marketing, but ensures he is always across the latest trends and innovative thinking throughout the world of sales and marketing. He was the perfect choice to help disrupt our business, given his more than two decades of experience within managed IT services provision, Cloud (Public, Private and Hybrid) solutions, ERP and SaaS, working with numerous blue chip and mid-market companies, developing a particular expertise in the legal and professional services sectors.

Ian Harrison - COO

Ian is one of the longest-serving members of the Quiss team. He joined us as a Field Service Engineer back in January 1989 when the company was still in its infancy, being promoted initially to Field Service Manager in September 1993 and then to Customer Services Director in September 1996. Ian held the Customer Services Director role for a period of 24 years until the company restructured in November 2020. During this time he was responsible for all aspects of service delivery at Quiss Technology, as provisioned through our Helpdesk, Field Service, Infrastructure Support and Logistics Teams. Ian now holds the Operations Director remit, with responsibility for the HR, Training, Facilities & Logistics and Quality & Compliance teams. He enjoys the great outdoors and is also a very keen music fan.

Ian Wesley

Ian has been with Quiss since 1993 ensuring that a high level of customer service is provided by our support teams and is a point of escalation for clients. He has covered a range of positions within the service department. Ian is ITIL qualified and in his customer service role, Ian regularly attends client review meetings. Ian is a family man and keen football fan. His spare time is also taken up on his allotment and his competitive craft brewing.

James Smith

James joined Quiss in 2011 and as Training Manager he is responsible for the design and delivery of bespoke IT training courses from pre implementation to on-going staff development. He provides support on all Microsoft Office applications and creates decustomised document workflow automation, templates and house styles. With over 14 years experience in the development, delivery and management of IT training on Microsoft and bespoke applications, as well as the custom development of automated Microsoft Office based applications clients are in safe hands with James. James supports Manchester United and is a season ticket holder, much to the dismay of the vast majority of his colleagues.

Jason Betteridge

Jason founded Circyl in 2017 as a subsidiary of Quiss. Circyl's products & services enhance the existing Quiss portfolio offering Business Productivity solutions centric around the Microsoft platform including CRM, O365, SharePoint and Business Intelligence. Prior to Circyl, Jason founded Ridgian and owned and ran it as Managing Director before selling it to Ricoh in 2015. Jason is strategy and sales focused within the company and draws on his 27 years in the IT business and broad market knowledge. Coming from a technical background he can empathise with business users, business owners and technical audiences. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and friends, is partial to the odd game of golf, loves music of all kinds - playing piano, listening and attending concerts and is mad on technology gadgets.

John Keenan

John's career in technology began back in 1985 as an Electronics Engineer in the British Army. He is an experienced problem solver, with a proven track record of managing large, diverse technical teams to deliver enterprise-scale projects, on time and within budget. Recent technical roles have developed John's experience of managed IT services and application hosting, with accountability for the design, implementation, project delivery and support of infrastructure platforms He is highly regarded by colleagues for his ability to make quick and informed decisions. John combines these skills with good leadership to create a responsive and agile environment in which his team cazan flourish, delivering client-focused outcomes. A big technophile, he consistently introduces innovative technologies to help develop a business and make it more efficient, recognising the competitive advantage it can deliver for organisations of any size, operating in any sector. John is responsible for all aspects of service delivery at Quiss Technology as provisioned through our Helpdesk, Field Service, Network Supply and Logistics Teams. Born in Scotland, John is now an adopted Midlander and when not in the office, enjoys time refurbishing and improving his home, sometimes without the use of a large hammer.

Matt Rhodes

Matt has been with Quiss Technology since 2011, always ready with his natural Black Country wit to liven up any meeting. His role is primarily to expand our hosted solutions and to liaise with software vendors to help them develop their Software as a Service (SaaS) offering. Matt is also responsible for developing sales of our managed IT services along with the resale of all IT hardware and software. Although he has a comprehensive technical IT background, Matt is a true salesman, but one who believes in selling clients what they need, not what is easiest for us. It's not all sales though as Matt is adept at helping our customers understand how new technology can help them achieve their business goals, which often involves nothing but his expert advice, based on years of experience (he is older than he looks!).

Nick Hayne

Nick is responsible for developing business opportunities for our Cloud and managed service solutions within the professional services sector. He brings with him unrivalled experience of building rewarding relationships with law firms and legal sector solutions providers, helping them improve efficiency and increase productivity through the effective use of new technologies. Nick has worked closely with law firms across the country, of every size, from high street to international brands and has developed a deep and genuine understanding of what law firms need, from both a strategic and support perspective. A regular networker in legal circles, he is always ready to share his experience with businesses looking to undertake transformational change, migrate to Azure or Office 365 and those just ready for greater stability with their existing infrastructure and systems. Nick is a keen sports fan, with a lifelong passion for his beloved Wolverhampton Wanderers. Family time is important and has reduced his sports interest to mostly spectator participation, but he can still be found tearing it up on the golf course - literally.

Rita Crawshaw - CHRO

Since joining Quiss in 2017 to cover a colleague on maternity leave, Rita has worked her way up to now lead the HR function. She has over 15 years of HR generalist experience and is also a Level 7, Chartered Member of Personnel and Development. Having completed her MSc at Aston University, her HR expertise is vast and covers a range of streams from recruitment, Learning & Development and employee relations to strategic thinking/planning and change management. Rita is a consummate HR professional and a great team player. She is passionate that HR can make a significant difference by aligning Quiss' HR goals to Quiss' long term growth model, with the determination to deliver an "exceptionally positive customer experience" at the heart of the HR strategy. Originally from London, Rita sees the West Midlands as her adopted home and in her spare time, she enjoys socialising with her family and friends, camping, and she is also an avid reader.

Steve Howe

Experienced Senior Account Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. Skilled in HP Products, Sales, Data Center, Virtualization, and Account Management. Strong sales professional graduated from Lutterworh Grammar School.

Suzanne Bull

  • As Executive Director of Quiss Technology since 2006, Suzanne Enjoys Utilising Her Years of Experience in the Industry.
With primary responsibility for the recruitment and retention of staff, and the development of internal working systems, she works closely with the other directors on product development and service delivery. Suzanne is a serial investor in new business start ups and acts as a business angel to a number of IT related companies. She is also passionate about music and reading and actively involved in charity work.

Terry Faria

Terry joined Quiss in 2012 and is responsible for all aspects of the Qvoice division, ensuring the telephone services integrate with our existing compliment of field service, customer support and logistics.
