Adriana Rodgers - VP

Adriana joined Alcentra in July 2018 and is a Vice President within the Investor Relations team. She is responsible for client services, communication and investor events. Previously, the investor relations manager at private equity firm CD Capital Asset Management and FTSE 100 listed real estate trust, Land Securities, Adriana started her career at ABN AMRO in M&A Business Management, before joining the J.P. Morgan Cazenove Equity Sales team providing corporate access to all UK institutional client base and managing relationships between sales, investors and corporate clients. Adriana is a graduate of the University of London and City University of New York (CUNY). She speaks Portuguese, French and Spanish.

Alan Dixon - VP

Alan joined Alcentra in March 2013 and is a member of the Transaction Management Team. Prior to joining Alcentra, Alan worked in the Structured Credit Services team at Deutsche Bank for 18 months within a team providing trustee and collateral administration services for CDOs. Before joining Deutsche Bank London, Alan undertook a year-long internship with the same bank in New York occupying both a business relationship and project management role. Alan graduated from the University of Durham with a BSc (Hons) in Biology. He also holds an MSc in Forensic Science from King's College London and has completed the Investment Management Certificate.

Alex Brown

Alex joined Alcentra in August 2014 and is a senior member of the European Direct Lending Operations Team. Alex is responsible for overseeing the fund finance and liquidity function of the European Direct Lending Funds. Prior to joining Alcentra he spent a year at M&G as a Portfolio Associate within the Alternative Credit Team working on CLO's, CDO's and ABS funds. Prior to this he worked at the Bank of New York Mellon for a year as a CDO Corporate Trust Associate. Alex is a CFA Level 2 Candidate. He graduated from the University of Reading with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Finance and Investment Banking.

Alex Davau

Alex joined Alcentra in August 2014 as a Senior Research Analyst for the European Credit team based in London and is focused on the pharmaceutical and retail & consumer sectors. He graduated from EM Lyon University in 2004 and began his career at Ernst & Young in Transaction Advisory Services and Corporate Restructuring in Paris. Prior to Alcentra he spent the previous eight years in Leveraged Finance, working for CIT Capital, BNP Paribas and, more recently, JP Morgan where his responsibilities included origination and deal execution of leveraged loan and bond transactions.

Alex Naylor - VP

Alex joined Alcentra in February 2018 as an analyst in the CLO middle office team. His responsibilities include CLO operations and middle office across Europe and the US. Other responsibilities include, working with the portfolio management team on CLO analysis and setup and monitoring of all funds investment guidelines within Allvue. Prior to joining Alcentra, Alex graduated from Oxford Brookes university in 2017 with a BSc in Economics, Finance and Business.

Alex Walker - Managing Director

Alex joined Alcentra in 2013 and serves as Managing Director of the European Private Credit team and as a member of the Private Credit Investment Committee. Alex has over 18 years' experience in the credit markets and has spent the last nine years establishing and growing the direct lending business at Alcentra into one of Europe's leading private credit platforms. Alex has played a key role in the raising and deployment of over 14bn into the European direct lending market. In addition, Alex leads the restructuring and workout function for the direct lending business and has served on the boards of several of Alcentra's portfolio companies. Alex has a law degree from the University of Leicester and is a graduate of Nottingham Law School.

Alyssa Gilluly - VP

Alyssa joined Alcentra in March 2020 as an Assistant Vice President in the Investor Relations team focusing on client service, communication and investor events. Prior to joining, Alyssa was an Analyst at The Blackstone Group within their Hedge Fund Solutions division. During the five years spent in this role, she focused on Investor and Manager Operations. Previous to this, Alyssa was a consultant in New York City at Beacon Hill Staffing, after beginning her career in Florida as an Accountant. Alyssa graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.

Amelia Carleton - VP

Amos Ouattara - Managing Director

Amos joined Alcentra in 2015, and he is currently the Deputy Portfolio Manager for our Special Situations strategy. Before joining the firm, he was a director at Mount Kellett based in London, focusing in investing across the capital structure of stressed and distressed corporates. Prior to that, he was a member of the special situations team at KKR and the distressed investing team at Goldman Sachs, where he sourced and worked on the execution of several investments in Europe. Amos is a graduate of HEC Paris (Master of Sc. In Management) and holds a Master in Applied Mathematics from ENSEA.

Amy joined Standish Mellon Asset Management, another subsidiary of BNY Mellon, in 2010, and was Senior European Fixed Income Trader. Prior to this, Amy was a Global Fixed Income trader at Invesco Limited. Amy started her career as a Global Fixed Income trader at Gartmore Asset Management. Amy has a G.N.V.Q in Advanced Business Studies and has over 20 years of experience within the investment industry.

Anastasia Owens

Ben Woodley

Ben joined Alcentra in June 2019 and serves as the Head of EMEA Compliance Advisory. Ben reports directly to James Algar, the Head of Compliance and Risk for the Alcentra Group and is responsible for providing Compliance Advisory support to the business. His role is primarily focused on providing assistance to the business on regulatory change projects and initiatives. Prior to joining Alcentra, Ben headed up the Product Advisory and Compliance Monitoring function at BNY Mellon Investment Management EMEA Ltd for 4 1/2 years and has held senior roles at Morgan Stanley, Schroders and Northern Trust during his 18 year career in compliance and regulation.

Berk Ercelebi - VP

Berk graduated from ETH Zurich with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and from London School of Economics with an MSc in Management.

Brandon Bradkin - Chairman

Brandon is Managing Director and Executive Chairman of Alcentra Ltd and brings more than 30 years of business, finance, legal, restructuring, investor, and fund management experience. Prior to joining Alcentra, Brandon was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee at CVC Credit Partners. Brandon joined CVC from Park Square Capital, where he was a Partner and member of the Investment Committee. Previously, Brandon helped lead the restructuring and sale of two distressed portfolio companies. He has also been a Vice President in Investment Banking at Chase, in London. Brandon began his career at O'Melveny & Myers in Los Angeles after clerking for Judge John Minor Wisdom. Brandon received an AB with honours from Harvard College, and a JD with honours from Harvard Law School.

Brandon Chao - Managing Director

Brandon joined Alcentra in March 2017 and is a Portfolio Manager for the firm's structured credit funds. He is responsible for analysing and overseeing investments in structured products across Alcentra's funds. Before joining Alcentra, Brandon was a senior analyst at Omega for 5 years where he covered and traded structured products, focusing on CLO equity and mezzanine investing, as well as opportunistic corporate credit on the long and short side. Previously, Brandon worked at King Street Capital from 2006 to 2012, where he focused on investing in corporate structured products, high yield, and distressed credit. Prior to King Street, he worked in leveraged finance research at Credit Suisse. Brandon graduated from MIT in 2005 with a BS in Finance and a minor in Economics, and is a CFA charterholder.

Brett Anderson

Brett has over a decade of experience in the CLO/Structured Credit Market. Brett joined Bank of America/US Bank in 2009 and stayed with the firm until 2019. Brett was a CLO Analytics Manager there building and modelling CLO compliance tests for five managers. In 2019 Brett joined Black Mountain Systems/Allvue as an Implementation Specialist, more recently focusing on Alcentra's IG coding from the other side of the fence. Brett is going to be managing and building Alcentra's Investment Guidelines for us within Everest. Brett has a Double Major in Accounting and Finance from Illinois State University, and completed an Executive MBA with Distinction at Cass Business School.

Brian O'Connell - Managing Director

Brian is responsible for sourcing and execution of private debt investments across a variety of industries and geographies with a focus on the UK. Prior to joining Alcentra, Brian worked at Bank of Ireland, initially working with the TMT and corporate banking teams before moving into the leveraged finance team where he was responsible for structuring and executing debt transactions for mid-market financial sponsors across a range of industry sectors. Brian graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway in 2010 with a B.A. in Economics and Legal Science and graduated from National University of Ireland, Galway with an LLB in 2011.

Cameron McKenzie - VP

Cameron joined Alcentra's Structured Credit team as a credit analyst in August 2017. He is responsible for analysing investments in structured products across Alcentra's funds. Prior to joining the team, Cameron spent 12 months on Alcentra's rotational graduate programme where he completed 4 months with the Structured Credit Team, Leveraged Loan & High Yield Team and the Business Development Team. Cameron graduated from The University of Edinburgh in 2016, with a 1st Class Honors in Physics.

Carlos Gross

Before joining Stellex, he was an associate at Evercore in the Special Situations Group. Before that, he was an analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Financial Institutions Group. Catherine Saunders - Managing Director

Catherine Saunders is a managing director within business development for Benefit Street Partners & Alcentra, based in our New York office. Prior to joining BSP in 2015, Ms. Saunders was an associate at Citigroup in New York, where she worked in the real estate finance group, focused on corporate lending. During her time at Citigroup, Ms. Saunders also worked in the equity capital markets group. Ms. Saunders received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Cathy Bevan - Managing Director

Cathy is Head of Structured Credit and a Portfolio Manager for Alcentra's structured credit funds overseeing investments in structured products, with a particular focus on CLOs. She has expertise investing across EU and US senior, mezzanine, equity CLO tranches as well as CLO warehouses. Cathy joined Alcentra's structured credit team in July 2012. Before joining Alcentra she worked at Citigroup as a member of the structured credit team, responsible for originating and structuring CLO transactions. Prior to this she performed a similar role at CIBC World Markets as part of the CLO/CDO structuring desk. Cathy graduated with a first class honours degree from the University of Warwick in Mathematics and Statistics.

Cecilia Beke-Molnar

Cecilia joined Alcentra in August 2021 as a research analyst in the European Credit Team. She is responsible for covering the European Services sector. Prior to joining Alcentra, Cecilia was a senior credit analyst at Cairn Capital where she spent 5 years focussing on high-yield and loan issuers across various sectors in both Europe and US. Cecilia started her career at Morgan Stanley where she spent 3.5 years as a credit risk analyst conducting research and financial modelling on investment grade and high-yield companies in connection with LBOs and other event deals across a variety of sectors. Cecilia graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest (Finance and Accounting BA) and is also a CFA charterholder. She also passed the CFA Institute's Certificate in ESG Investing.

Chi-pa Choi - Managing Director

Chi-pa started working for Alcentra in 2022 and has a dual role, leading Alcentra's Portfolio Analytics team and Investment Risk. Prior to joining, Chi-pa spent three years in FMCG, before eight years in investment banking, initially at JPMorgan and then Morgan Stanley, focusing on credit. His initial roles were in Leveraged Finance and Telecoms and Media Debt Capital Markets, but after three years he moved to derivatives marketing, where he led the UK banks desk: structuring and developing synthetic structured credit products. He also spent time developing solutions to address bank IAS and regulatory capital issues. In 2009, Chi-pa co-founded a consultancy, Calimere Point Risk Advisory, and advised its blue-chip client base for 14 years on a wealth of data and risk initiatives. Chi-pa graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in Natural Sciences.

Chris Barris - Managing Director

Chris is the Deputy Chief Investment Officer of Liquid Credit. He is responsible for managing all U.S. and global high yield portfolios, and has extensive experience managing a broad range of high yield bond strategies for both institutional and retail funds. Chris is also responsible for managing Alcentra's multi-asset credit portfolios, including US and European bonds and loans. Chris has considerable experience in credit analysis with over 25 years of investment experience. Chris joined Alcentra in January 2013 as part of the combination of Alcentra with Standish Mellon Asset Management's high yield business, another subsidiary of BNY Mellon. He joined Standish in 2005 as a Senior Credit Analyst, and elevated to Director and Senior Portfolio Manager for US and global high yield investments. He joined Standish from State Street Research & Management where he was as a high yield research analyst. Prior to that, he worked for Credit Suisse First Boston (Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette) in the leveraged finance group. Chris has an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, a B.A. from Hamilton College.

Chris Schubert - VP

Daire Wheeler - Managing Director

Daire joined Alcentra in July 2014 and is Head of European Liquid Credit and the Portfolio Manager for Alcentra's European CLOs and European Loan funds. He is a co-Chair of the European Liquid Investment Committee. Daire has experience of both par and distressed credit investing across a broad range of sectors. He has previously held roles as Deputy High Yield Portfolio Manager and Senior Credit Analyst within Alcentra. Before joining Alcentra, Daire spent seven years as a credit analyst at Oak Hill Advisors. Daire moved to Oak Hill in 2006 from JP Morgan's Leveraged Finance and Capital Markets groups where he focused on credit analysis and syndication. He earned an M.B.S. from the UCD Michael Smurfit School of Business (1st Class Honours) and a B.Sc. from the National University of Ireland, Galway (1st Class Honours).

Daniel Callingham - VP

Danny joined the Alcentra New York Client Onboarding team in November 2017 as an AML/KYC Associate. Danny will be primarily responsible for onboarding new Alcentra NY clients and US investors. Danny has over 9 years of experience in the AML/KYC space working in both AML compliance and KYC production roles. He joined Alcentra from Banco Latinoamerica de Comercio Exterior (BLADEX), where he was had senior responsibilities working as the BSA/OFAC/AML Compliance Officer. Prior to this, he was employed with HBSC Securities and Royal Bank of Scotland in AML and compliance functions.

Daniel McCotter - VP

Most recently, Daniel has lead Alcentra's research effort in Asia credit for Global High Yield funds. In 2017, Daniel graduated with a B.A. in Finance from Bentley University with Summa Cum Laude honors and holds the CFA® designation.

David Hendry - VP

Diane Abeyawickrama

Diane joined Alcentra in November 2022 as Director Controller in the Financial Controllers Group responsible for financial reporting. Diane started her UK career at a hedge fund, Brevan Howard, managing the corporate finance team as Head of Finance for over 5 years. Most recently she held the role of Finance Director, Housing at Gresham House, prior to which worked as Finance Director or Head of Finance at Kingswood Wealth Group, Round Hill Capital and Jetstone Asset Management. Diane qualified as a Chartered Accountant at PWC Sri Lanka. She is also holds CFA and Chartered Management Accountant designations and has over 20 years' experience in finance in Sri Lanka, Bermuda and London across insurance, telecoms and financial services industries.

Emma Blakey - VP

Emma joined Alcentra in September 2020 as a member of the Direct Lending Portfolio Monitoring team. Emma is responsible for helping to oversee the investment portfolio, both looking at the performance of individual assets, and more broadly at fund level performance. In addition, she leads on ESG within the Direct Lending business. Emma brings nine years of experience in analysing mid-market leverage credit. Prior to joining Alcentra, Emma was a Senior Associate in the Ares Management portfolio team. At Ares, Emma similarly focused on investment and fund performance, gaining experience working across multiple fund vintages and observing a fast expanding portfolio function. Before joining Ares, Emma held roles at HSBC, within the leverage finance portfolio team and the credit function. Emma holds an Industrial Economics degree from the University of Nottingham.

Eric Larsson - Managing Director

Prior to Mount Kellett, Eric worked as Vice President and senior analyst within Deutsche Bank's Distressed Products Group covering a range of sectors and restructuring regimes. Before that he was an Associate within Morgan Stanley Principal Strategies' distressed and convertible arbitrage teams. Eric began his career in investment banking at Morgan Stanley. Eric holds a Master of Science in Finance and Business Management from the Stockholm School of Economics, a CEMS Masters degree in Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Stockholm University.

Felicity Rivett-Carnac - Managing Director

Frédéric Méreau - Managing Director
