Andrew West

Andrew joined Suffolk Mind in March 2020 as a trustee and member of the Finance Committee. Andrew is the Managing Partner/CEO at Gotelee Solicitors and a strong advocate of the importance of mental health in the workplace and the provision of quality mental health services, education and support across Suffolk. Working as a trustee has allowed Andrew to gain a fuller understanding of the services provided by Suffolk Mind and the positive impact these services have on the wider Suffolk community. Andrew is also a keen fundraiser for Suffolk Mind.

Chloe Ludkin

Chloe has spent more than five years at Treatt plc, now working as the Executive PA to the Group CEO. Passionate about mental health in the workplace, Chloe works on the companies' Wellbeing Team, creating an environment where colleagues feel supported and can thrive. She is also responsible for managing and coordinating all of Treatt UK's community and charity partnerships, supporting her desire to make a difference to others across Suffolk. Chloe volunteers her time as an Enterprise Advisor to help secondary school students feel supported both mentally and physically in their transition from education to the working world.

Ellie Winch

Ellie Winch joined Suffolk Mind in November 2017. Prior to joining us, she worked in marketing and design teams for the education sector and international firms, and before that in architecture. "I joined Suffolk Mind because I believed in their vision and immediately connected with the Emotional Needs & Resources approach. I use my skills to support and connect with people, helping me meet my own need for Meaning & Purpose. It's incredibly rewarding to promote our high-quality services, build upon our reputation, and help develop Suffolk Mind to support more people in my home county."

Ezra Hewing

Job Titles:
  • Head of Education
Ezra Hewing is Head of Education at Suffolk Mind and a Human Givens Therapist. Since joining Suffolk Mind in 2009, he has grown our busy workplace wellbeing service, training frontline mental health workers, doctors, nurses, substance abuse workers, members of the emergency services and heads of organisations, amongst others, in how best to understand and support emotionally healthy workplaces. He holds an MSc in the psychology and neuroscience of mental health from the internationally renowned Institute of Psychology, Psychiatry and Neuroscience, King's College, London, where he researched REM sleep and mental ill health, with a focus on the symptoms of schizophrenia.

Greer Hill

Greer is the Director of Student Services, Safeguarding & Support at Suffolk New College. As the College's DSL, senior mental health lead and strategic careers lead, Greer is passionate about making a difference to the lives and futures of children, young people and vulnerable adults. A keen advocate for service improvement, listening to the lived experiences of children, young people and their families, Greer brings this commitment with her and looks forward to the contribution she can make as a Trustee of Suffolk Mind.

Ian White

Ian White joined Suffolk Mind in April 2016. He is a Chartered Accountant and the Managing Director of Becketts, a Wealth Management Company based in Bury St Edmunds.

Jon Neal - CEO

Job Titles:

Following a career in corporate communications and marketing - in the public, private and VCSE sectors - Jon joined Suffolk Mind in 2016 and set about building on existing efforts to diversify our income base. Since that time, Suffolk Mind has grown in reputation and income, and is now able to help more people in the county. Jon lives in Kesgrave with his wife and two young children. He likes reading fiction, growing vegetables and cooking from scratch.

Julie Long

Job Titles:
  • Fundraising Manager
Julie Long joined Suffolk Mind in May 2022. Prior to that she worked for many years within the new parent/families, primary school, and EYFS sectors across Suffolk, both as an educator and also as a strategist. "I joined Suffolk Mind to support them in their mission. Fundraising is so vital to helping the charity to grow, and with the range of skills I bring from previous roles, I hope to lead with a creative, engaging and exciting fundraising programme which helps the community to meet their own needs whilst also supporting us with our fundraising aims."

Karen Davies

Karen is a registered Dietitian specialising in public health. Karen has 25 years' experience as a clinical dietitian in the NHS and for the last 10 years have been working as Lead Dietitian for a NHS commissioned healthy lifestyle service.

Katie Hollis

Katie Hollis (right) is our CFYP Relationships Manager, and joined Suffolk Mind in April 2017. Prior to working for Suffolk Mind, she worked as a primary school teacher in a variety of schools across Suffolk and in the Middle East. "I made the decision to join Suffolk Mind because I was ready for a new challenge and passionate about improving mental health and wellbeing for children, families, and young people. Having also experienced poor mental health among my colleagues in schools, I wanted to work with a charity that's mission was to make Suffolk the best place to talk about and take care of mental health." Out of work Katie is a busy parent to three boys and spends lots of time stood at the side of soggy football pitches across the county. Louise Harris (left) is our CFYP Training & Content Manager, while also training to become a Human Givens Psychotherapist. She has been with Suffolk Mind since early 2020 and was previously a primary school teacher and a children's yoga teacher. Louise delivers CFYP training and develops course materials, and is growing the service into secondary schools, further education settings and family and community groups to cater for the need in mental health provision and education that has increased over the past few years. "I came to Suffolk Mind to use my skills to deliver our education programmes in schools, with the mission to make a real difference to the mental health of children and young people in Suffolk." Louise is also a parent to two children who like to go on outdoor adventures and plays in a samba band in her spare time.
