Alexandra Martin

Alexandra joined UCLB in 2021 as Associate Project Manager. Her experience prior to joining UCLB comes from being a translational scientist on a POC project focusing on drug development, specifically small molecules at the University of Greenwich. Alexandra has a first class BSc (hons) biomedical science degree from University of Greenwich and has also completed her PRINCE2 Practitioner level certification for project management. She also speaks three languages.

Ana Lemmo Charnalia

Job Titles:
  • Senior Business Manager
Ana holds an MBA from Oxford University. She managed the Health Social Innovators' Programme at UCLB, a partnership with Numbers for Good and THT Social Investments to support early-stage health ventures which received backing from Janssen Healthcare Innovation and the Cabinet Office's Social Incubator Fund. Her current responsibilities within UCLB include commercialising medical technology research as well as developing social enterprise opportunities arising from UCL's research base.

Christine Madla Angeles

Job Titles:
  • Associate Business Manager ( Social Ventures )
Christine holds a PhD in pharmaceutics from the UCL School of Pharmacy, focusing on sex differences in pharmaceutical formulations. She founded Sex in Science, which aims to reduce the sex and gender research gap in healthcare. She is now an Associate Business Manager at UCLB, supporting the translation of UCL research towards impact at scale through sustainable for-purpose ventures.

Jessica Bolton-Murray

Job Titles:
  • Head of Project Management
Jessica joined the Project Management team at UCLB in February 2018. She previously worked as a project manager in neonatal care for the NHS, working on quality improvement for all units in London, and with parents of premature children. Prior to this Jessica was a scientific researcher in carbon monoxide poisoning at Cranfield Defence and Security, working on a population impact study. She has a BSc (Hons) in biological anthropology from the University of Kent, an MSc in forensic anthropology from Cranfield University, and is a PRINCE2 and AgilePM qualified project manager.

Marina Santilli

Job Titles:
  • Associate Director ( Physical Sciences & Engineering )
Marina holds a BSc (Hons) in physics from Imperial College London and has over twelve years' experience of new product development in the ICT sector. Her current responsibilities include providing support for the Department of Computer Science and advising on the licensing and commercialisation of software and web services.
