As it stands today, A.W. Jenkinson Forest Products is a large network of companies specialising in animal bedding, wood co-products and transport. But despite its size and the multitude of services and products it offers, it all began with a single, simple, innovative idea... As farmers and horse professionals ourselves we understand how important our products are to our customer, whether it is ensuring that valuable livestock stays healthy and content, a horse is rested and free from respiratory problems, or that we return the best nutrients to the land as possible. This is why we start from the most natural of beginnings and the ingredients are produced to the highest standards, so the product reaches you in condition we would be happy to use ourselves... Our first-ever clients were local Cumbrian farmers, who prized our sawdust for livestock bedding. Over time, our offering expanded to include poultry farmers, pet breeders, horse trainers/breeders, wildlife parks and even zoos...
