Jonno Barrett - Chairman, Founder

Co-founder and Chairman Jonno Barrett is a business pioneer with an adventurous spirit. After graduating with a BSC Hons, Zoology, Jonno built up a wealth of experience in fundraising, marketing, and management. In 1994, an interest in sailing and knowledge of computing gained at university, provided the inspiration to develop and sell stock integration software for chandlers, boat builders and marine engineers. is a business pioneer with an adventurous spirit. After graduating with a BSC Hons, Zoology, Jonno built up a wealth of experience in fundraising, marketing, and management. In 1994, an interest in sailing and knowledge of computing gained at university, provided the inspiration to develop and sell stock integration software for chandlers, boat builders and marine engineers. In 1998 Jonno became Managing Director of Kudos, using his clear strategic vision and experience gained as a skipper and instructor on sailing yachts, to form and lead a team of industry experts, with a focus on market-leading product development. Witnessing the team gain competence and deliver outstanding service levels and standards is something that Jonno is immensely proud of. Today Jonno is Chair of Kudos, maintaining a strategic view of the company, ensuring financial stability, security, customer service and company standards are maintained. He believes that product innovation is key to improving customer experience and enjoys seeing clients improve their outcomes using Kudos. Jonno is a long-standing member of the board of British Marine South West. He recently sailed round the top of Norway to the White Sea and onwards to St Petersburg, via canal.

NICK WALKER

As Director of Customer Service, Nick uses his vast knowledge and experience to manage internal systems and cyber security. He and his team have been instrumental in achieving the much-respected ISO 27001 standard on behalf of Kudos. Nick is a ‘people-person' who believes that good people and a great team will set Kudos on course for continued success.

SARAH DODD - Managing Director

TOM HOLE

Sarah first joined Kudos in 2012. A qualified business professional, Sarah achieved her BA (Hons) Business Studies, Economics and Marketing in 1995 and has since gone on to become a successful Commercial leader, gaining over 25 years' experience in retail technology. Originally employed by Kudos as Marketing Manager using marketing activities to develop a sales pipeline, Sarah was promoted to Commercial Director in 2014 with overall responsibility for increasing sales income. Under Sarah's guidance in 2014/15 the sales team returned the highest turnover in the company's history - demonstrating Sarah's strong commercial acumen. After successfully leading the commercial team for several years, Sarah is now Managing Director and strongly believes in focusing on exceptional customer service to underpin long-term business growth and development. She has a pivotal role in building relationships with clients and is a member of the Charity Retail Association, Corporate Members Advisory Group. Sarah's on the water activities are usually without sails and she finds paddle boarding fun, along with the odd sea swim. Initially, Tom joined Kudos in 2003 as part of a 12 month placement for his BSc (Hons) Computing Informatics degree. Two years later, he returned as a Support Analyst, where he was quick to demonstrate his technical competence. Tom subsequently went on to become a Software Developer, specialising in innovative software and intelligent database design, before achieving the role of Head of Development. As Product Development Director, Tom sits on the board of directors and represents the development and technical aspects of Kudos. He believes that the future success of Kudos depends on responding and adapting to change, as well as continuing the excellent work the team does already. Tom is a huge fan of the Elite Ice Hockey League - he and his family support the Belfast Giants.
