We were formed in 1973 as a civic society. We became the Ledbury and District Society Trust Ltd, a charitable trust, in 1977. Our status as a charitable trust helps us devote as much of our income as possible to our causes. This is particularly important because we have no day-to-day funding from local or central government... As a charitable trust we are a non-political organisation. Our allegiances are to Ledbury and the vital part its heritage plays.
