I have worked for many small to medium enterprises and became disillusioned with their many weird and wonderful ways of keeping their accounts and administrative systems. Terrible excel documents, paper records or bad bookkeepers, who had meddled with their computerised accounts, made my job in those early days very frustrating... I decided I would learn Sage 50, as it was Britain's market leader in accounting software. I began home study first of all and achieved what I thought was a good standard of knowledge.
