Dr Asif joined the Hewett's team in 2021. He takes particular interest in cosmetic and functional dentistry.
I have qualified from the University of Leeds in 2019 and undertaken several courses since, to allow me to provide a range of services to my patients.
I am actively involved in dental public health opportunities and have a keen interest in research and publishing, partaking in various projects in the past, such as researching antibiotic resistance and its relevance to dental care. Keeping up to date with evidence-based dentistry is important to me, allowing me to provide tailored and suitable care for my patients backed with scientific reasoning.
Dr Dhara qualified as a dentist from Newcastle University in 2018, with a Merit in Clinical Dentistry.
She is an empathetic practitioner and enjoys getting to know her patients. Dr Dhara believes in a holistic approach to dentistry, listening to her patients goals and concerns to create bespoke, minimally invasive treatment plans. Through her work she helps patients build their confidence and make positive lifestyle changes.
Dr Dhara regularly attends dental courses to further develop her skills and the treatments she can provide to her patients, staying at the forefront of the latest advances in dentistry.
She has a particular interest in medical aesthetics and is currently undertaking the Level 7 Diploma in Clinical Aesthetic Injectable Therapies.
Outside of work she enjoys running, Pilates, travelling and spending time with her house rabbits, Oreo and Bella.

Donna started her career in dentistry in 2007 as an Apprentice Dental Nurse. After qualifying as a Dental Nurse in 2009 and then becoming Senior Dental Nurse 2014.
In 2016 she became Practice Manager and hasn't looked back.
She has also completed her level 5 Management and Leadership qualification.
Donna is very focused on ensuring the practice meets best practice in all areas.
Outside of work Donna enjoys eating out and spending time with her husband and 3 cats.
Dr Naveed Hussain graduated from the university of Leeds, with a distinction in his master's research. He presented his master's research at the national conference of the British Prosthodontic Society. He then completed his foundation training in the competitive London scheme.
Following this, he completed a surgical residency in Brazil followed by a 2 years master's programme in dental implantology and graduated with the highest honour of distinction. Naveed has also had research published within the European Journal of Prosthodontic and Restorative Dentistry.
He has also completed advanced surgical and restorative training nationally and internationally in sinus lifts, advanced hard and soft tissue regeneration and full mouth implant-supported rehabilitation treatments.
Currently, he works across multiple practices in Yorkshire as a dental and implant surgeon offering complete and comprehensive care within the disciplines of restorative, surgical and implant Dentistry.
Originally from Huddersfield he now lives in Leeds. In his free time, he likes travelling, reading, going to the gym plus spending time with friends and family including his young son.

Liz is our dental hygienist/therapist and has been at the practice since 2012. Since qualifying, she has gained experience working with nervous patients, especially children.
Essam qualified from Dental School in 2004 and has subsequently achieved a master's from Birmingham University. He has also spent some time working in Hull University Teaching Hospitals as an Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon, where he gained the MFDS from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. He has a wealth of experience and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. Essam always strives to build rapport with his patients, taking time to understand their concerns and expectations and then explain treatments and discuss all options available. His calm, relaxing manner helps to quickly put patients at ease.
My name is Faiz. I am dedicated to the pursuit of oral health, and face of Morden dentistry. In order to achieve all this, I am continually developing my skills in order to help my patients get the gold standard treatment. I have been an educational supervisor where I tried my level best to transfer my knowledge and skills on to new dentists.
I have done my MFDS making me a member of the Royal College of surgeons. Currently going through the succession of completing my diploma in Endodontics and also doing MClinDent in fixed and removable Prosthodontics.
In my free time I like indoor sports and I am a self-proclaimed specialist in outdoor BBQ's.
Hamed is passionate about his profession and has gained Surgical and Orthodontic experience in Leeds and Belfast Hospitals. He is particularly interested in smile design where he always strives to provide both the best and most progressive treatment options to his patients. Hamed has presented internationally and regularly attends courses and conferences to further his knowledge. He enjoys rock climbing and spending time with family and friends.

Hanya is an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellow/Specialist Registrar in Oral Surgery based at the School of Clinical Dentistry, University of Sheffield. Alongside her specialist training she is undertaking a prestigious Doctoral Research Fellowship to pursue a PhD in her research: Artificial Intelligence based assessment of oral precancer to aid early detection of oral cancer.

Kirstie is a member of the British Association of Dental Therapists, and recently attended and completed Totally Composite course with Monik Vasant.
She enjoys seeing great outcomes that patients achieve through their journey by modifying techniques and habits, and as a result seeing them happier, healthier and more confident. Changing patient's attitude and mindset towards dentistry gives her a great sense of accomplishment, as she is aware that many patients are dentally anxious due to bad experiences. Kirstie is enthusiastic about reversing patients phobias.
Out of work Kirstie enjoys keeping active with outdoor leisure; long hikes and great views, skiing, cheerleading and gym. She also loves to spend time travelling, and being a plant mum!
Dr Makinder Dhinsa, was brought up in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. As a child, he always wanted to become a dentist. As an adult, he has surpassed his dreams, becoming a world renowned dental surgeon. He qualified from Birmingham Dental School. Mr Dhinsa has always worked in general practice and has a wealth of experience in all fields of dentistry. He has a particular interest in orthodontics and restorative dentistry. He was a foundation Dentist trainer for 3 within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. Over the past 10 years, Dr Makinder Dhinsa has perfected the art of cosmetic, reconstructive and restorative.
Makinder has an infectious sense of humour and a tremendous enthusiasm within the dental industry, with his gentle and approachable personality; he quickly puts even the most nervous of patients at ease. Whilst his love of dentistry keeps Makinder extremely busy, he has a keen interest in sport and raising money for charity.
Dr Moazzam received his Bachelor's Degree in Dentistry from Universidad Europa de Madrid, Spain.
Olivia is our Treatment coordinator. As treatment coordinator, Olivia is available to answer any questions about treatment, and help patients better understand their options. She enjoys welcoming new patients, and supporting current patients through their journey here at the practice. She believes in making patients feel as comfortable and relaxed as possible, and her door is always open if patients fancy a cup of tea and a chat.
Sabrina is also one of our principal dentists. Sabrina has worked at Hewett's for over 10 years along with her husband Seby.
She is our lead sedationist in the practice and caters for the most nervous patients, empathising with the fact that many patients have a lifelong phobia of dentists usually due to a previous bad experience.
Her approachable personality and caring nature helps put them at ease.
If you think you're just too nervous to have anything done then ask for Sabrina when booking as she is likely to have seen far worse. She has a particular interest in sedation, nervous patients, dental phobias and cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
Seby is one of our principal dentists. Having worked at the practice for over 10 years, he is well experienced and has become well acquainted with his patients and prides himself in developing a trusting relationship with an emphasis towards encouraging patients towards preventative dentistry.
He has a interest in cosmetic dentistry, in particular, Invisalign to straighten teeth; combined with whitening and composite fillings which can really transform someone's smile.
He has also undertaken numerous courses since leaving university and is keen to develop his skills further in tooth wear and full mouth rehabilitation cases.
Thamer joined us from a practice in Huddersfield in 2017, and quickly established himself as a valuable member of the team.
Thamer is passionate about providing excellent dentistry in a relaxed and comfortable setting, and is an extremely popular dentist with many of our nervous patients.
