We prioritise regular training and information sharing on the categories of child abuse described above and broader safeguarding issues, such as mental health, online safety, and adverse childhood experiences. Our staff receives safeguarding and child protection training as part of their induction. In addition, each year, all staff receive further focused training during INSET and read the Statutory Guidance issued to schools, "Keeping Children Safe in Education," updated yearly.
