The Cardiff United Synagogue provides a centre of Jewish life and practice, dedicated to the ideals of Orthodox Judaism... We are a traditional orthodox community, located in Cardiff, Wales, UK, a community that built its first synagogue in 1853. You can look at our interesting history by opening this page. We have many great programmes, with an active hebrew school, bridge club, youth activites, film shows, educational lectures, discussion groups and many other communal activites. Also very active are our care committees and charitable services. The Synagogue is also a champion of interfaith dialogue and works to promote links with other religions... Known as the ‘city of arcades', Cardiff offers a mix of boutique stores found in the city's elegant Victorian arcades, and the city centre facilities of a modern European capital.
