In 1957 the firm was transferred to its present site in North Road, which was previously used as a bakery by Queens Bakery... Since, then he has seen the printing revolution reach its complete cycle. Hand-setting with individual letters was the norm at first. Then there was the linecasting of molten lead into type, followed by the new technology which has revolutionised the printing industry.
