Essex Bridleways Association is a registered charity formed in 1979 to enable horse and pony riders, walkers and countryside users in Essex to: Preserve and maintain existing bridleways, Restore old rights of way, many that have been lost through incorrect classification and are not registered on the Definitive Map, Create new bridleways... Essex is divided into administrative districts, for which the County Council is legally required to hold a correct Definitive Map of public rights of way (which can be seen at council offices). It has a duty to protect those rights... The Middlewick ride on the 16th April is now OPEN. We look forward to seeing you at the first ride of the season.
