HOLY GHOST PARISH

We work together to develop and promote the parish in many different ways, some formal some informal. Our formal structures include... Is a lively enthusiastic Catholic community which gathers together people from across the town and beyond. Our people come from all over the globe. At its founding in 1965 the congregation was mainly English, Irish, Caribbean and Italian. Those families still form a great part of the community enriched by many others especially from Kenya and other parts of Africa, Pakistan and India, and elsewhere. We host mass for the Polish community each week, and monthly for the Syro Malankara and Syro Malabar Rites from India. Together we celebrate the Eucharist each Sunday and throughout the week. Strengthened by Christ we try to live the life of the gospel in service to God and the world... We work together with other Christian Churches especially in the Bury Park Beech Hill Council of Churches which comprises All Saints and St Peter's Anglican Churches, Beech..
