Amy Glover

Amy joined the firm in 2016 as Head of our Private Client department, having previously run Private Client for a niche' Corporate, Trusts and Tax Firm after training and starting her career in a Legal 500 Solicitors. Amy has worked extensively for private and business clients advising on all aspects of Wills, Trusts and Estates. She is pragmatic in her approach, with exceptional client liaison and communication skills which help provide complex tailored Inheritance Tax planning solutions. She often administers Trusts and Estates which involve significant agricultural or business assets. Amy has two postgraduate degrees, in Business and Finance Law and Law (specialising in Revenue Law), to further compound her knowledge in these areas. Interests include spending time with her Horses and her young daughter on her Pony and watching her son play Junior Rugby. Amy is also involved in helping out her husband with the family farming business and the running of Men's Senior Rugby at her local club.

Catherine Cammock

After many years of varied experience in legal practices, Catherine qualified in 2002. Fluent in the French language, she initially trained as a linguist (working in industry) and has been an interpreter for Staffordshire Police and at the Magistrates' and Crown Courts. Catherine is a Full Accredited Member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE), an independent, national organisation of lawyers, such as solicitors, barristers, and legal executives who are committed to providing the highest quality of legal advice for older and vulnerable people, their families and carers. She is also a former Trustee of CASS the Carers Association, a registered charity (based in Stafford and covering Staffordshire) which provides confidential advice, information and emotional support to unpaid carers of any age who look after someone who needs help at home owing to disability, illness or the effects of old age.

Jennifer Woodyard

Jennifer has a Law Degree and was awarded honours by the Law Society in her Final Examinations. She has a Level 1 Certificate in British Sign Language.

Katie Riley

Katie obtained a First Class Law Degree (LLB) with Honours in 2018 from Liverpool John Moores University (receiving Liverpool Law Society's Proxime Accessit Award for her academic achievement). She then went onto achieve a Masters of Law with Distinction (LLM) (specialising in domestic and international commercial surrogacy arrangements) in 2019 from Liverpool John Moores University. Katie has always lived in Stafford and is passionate about working within her local community after joining the firm in 2019. Katie joined the firm as a Paralegal swiftly becoming a Trainee Solicitor working across our departments. Upon qualifying as a Solicitor, Katie will work within the Property department specialising in residential conveyancing and assisting with large high value commercial and agricultural transactions as well as within the Private Client Department focusing on Administrations of Estates, Probate, Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Deputyships. Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling, exercise and cooking.

Michael McKeever

Michael graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2020 with an honours degree in Law. He then went on to complete the LPC at Staffordshire University before joining the firm in 2021. He is now a Trainee Solicitor working across a variety of departments, but primarily within the Conveyancing Department where he gained significant experience working as a Paralegal. His interests outside of work include American Football, Football, Tennis, Golf, Hockey and spending time with family and friends.

Niamh Rudge

Niamh graduated from Staffordshire University in 2022 with an Honour's degree in Law. She is now completing her legal practice course with a Master's degree in Law, whilst also working as a Trainee Solicitor predominantly in the property department. Outside of work, Niamh is a Rainbow Leader with Girlguiding Rugeley. Other interests include her R56 Mini named Thor, crafts, nature and walking her sprocker, Missy."

Olivia Lyons-Hughes

Olivia Smith

Olivia graduated from Keele University in 2016 with an honours degree in law. She joined the firm in 2016 where she went onto study part time for the LPC at Staffordshire University and graduated with a distinction in 2019. Olivia is now a trainee solicitor working predominantly in the property department where she has gained much experience since joining the firm in 2016.

Patrick Nelson

Patrick has a BSC Econ in Law and Politics, MBA. Diploma in Legal Practice (Plus LPC PI Prize winner). Patrick qualified on 1 September 2003 having joined the firm as a trainee in August 2001 after completion of his LPC. Patrick works in our Litigation Department specialising in Civil Litigation (including Debt Recovery and Neighbour disputes), Residential Landlord and Tenant Repossession, Personal Injury and Employment.

Rosie Silvester

Rosie graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013 with an Honours Degree in Law. After spending a year travelling the United States, Rosie went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law campus in Birmingham. Rosie qualified as a Solicitor in December 2018. Rosie gained work experience with the firm in 2010 before starting University. Rosie joined the practice as a Solicitor in July 2021, having worked in Residential Conveyancing for the past six years. Rosie deals with a variety of property related transactions and has experience acting for a variety of clients, from first time buyers, to investors with large property portfolios. Interests outside of work include running, travelling, baking and spending time with loved ones.

Tracy Barnett

Tracy has had a varied legal career having developed her legal knowledge in various areas of the law before focusing on a career as a residential conveyancer in 2014. Working in Staffordshire, West Midlands and Shropshire before joining Hand Morgan & Owen in August 2022 she has considerable experience of residential sales and purchases of freehold/leasehold and unregistered properties, rights to buy, Transfers of Equity, Re-mortgages and buy to let investment purchases. Interests: In her spare time Tracy is a keen musician playing cornet for Rugeley's Lea Hall Brass Band and competing nationally with Amington Brass Band based in Tamworth.

Victoria Emery

Victoria has worked predominantly in residential conveyancing throughout her career having gained knowledge in other legal firms in Staffordshire before joining Hand Morgan & Owen in September 2018. Victoria has experience of all aspects of residential conveyancing and is currently studying to become a Licensed Conveyancer. Victoria enjoys spending time with her friends and family and walking her Golden Retriever, Bonnie.

Victoria joined the firm in 2012 after starting her legal career working at city firms based in Stoke on Trent, Manchester and Cambridge. After completing her training at the firm, Victoria is a Partner and heads up our Property Department. Victoria works with both private and commercial clients advising on all aspects of their property transactions. Victoria has a Business Management degree from Staffordshire University thereafter completing the Graduate Diploma in Law. Victoria is practical and pragmatic in her approach to her client's transactions and the tailored advice she provides. Victoria specialises in Agricultural Law and all aspects of Residential Property and Commercial Property transactions. Victoria is the Honorary Secretary of the Stafford & District Law Society. Interests include gardening, cooking in particular baking, attending comedy shows and live bands. Victoria also keeps both marine and tropical fish.
