I work with painting, sculpture and often with hybrids of the two. I explore formal aesthetic concerns (such as visual rhythm, composition, colour and texture) while also investigating more philosophical themes such as subjects pertaining to perception, otherness, solitude, connection and agency. My work is often in dialogue with particular art historical works, figures, archetypes or style ideals. I have a background in the wider visual culture field, and I still sporadically take on design or creative direction projects.
