LANE THEATRE

Lane Theatre is a unique venue in the seaside town of Newquay, Cornwall. Providing live theatre and entertainment as well as a whole host of other shows... 1980 saw the Society acquire the old Lane Village Hall and begin the process of transforming the almost derelict building into the excellent venue we enjoy today, presenting plays continually since that date with facilities including a 138 seat auditorium, The Cosy Nook bar, Green Room lounge, ample free parking and disabled access... 1999 saw a substantial Arts Council (National Lottery) grant which enabled major improvements for the comfort of both our audiences and actors to take place and the refurbished building was opened by our Honorary Patron, Phillip Schofield on 3rd September 2000. Further grants and loans have provided funds for a continual programme of upgrades.
