LEICESTERSHIRE CHORALE

Leicestershire Chorale is the region's leading chamber choir. Numbering around 40 we regularly perform in some of the East Midlands most prestigious venues. In our 40 th Anniversary Season (2017-18) we started the celebrations with a first-rate performance of Verdi's great Requiem in De Montfort Hall with the Bardi Orchestra... Leicestershire Chorale regularly performs large-scale works, and in the last couple of years have performed Handel's Messiah, Elgar's Dream of Gerontius, Verdi's Requiem, and in November 2018 will be taking on Britten's War Requiem, again with the local Bardi Orchestra. These large scale concerts are interspersed with smaller concerts in the best of our local churches and cathedrals.
