LINC - Key Persons

Adrian Bamford

I retired earlier this year after working for 30 years at Cheltenham General and Gloucestershire Royal as an an accountant, a general manager and latterly as a Director of Operations. Throughout that time I had a close association with the Oncology and Clinical Haematology teams as well as the Pathology department and have retained the latter connection by driving the Pathology vans around the county collecting specimens. I became involved with Linc shortly after Drs Dalton and Rouse formed it as one of the team planning for its first major project the construction of the Linc Out-patients department at Cheltenham General. I became a Trustee shortly after that and have continued to serve in that capacity ever since.

Asha Johny

Asha Johny completed her training in Haematology in Bristol and Vancouver before joining the Gloucestershire haematology team as a Consultant in 2008. Having been heavily involved with the re-development of the LINC Edward Jenner unit, she was delighted to become a trustee for LINC. Asha is currently chair of the Teenage and Young Adults with Cancer group for the 3 Counties area. Through her work, she remains in close contact with the patients, carers and services in need of LINC's ongoing support.
