Anthony Williams

Anthony Williams brings to coaching a wealth of business experience. In his wide-ranging career in the corporate sector, he has run the HR function for BOC Gases and the World Bank, and been a partner and worldwide director for the Hay Group. He has also worked in the public sector, where he was HM Inspector of Constabulary in Cambridge (the first from outside the Police Service). He is the author of two books, 'Who will Guard the Guardians? Corporate Governance in the Millennium' and 'Just Reward? The Truth about Top Executive Pay', as well as numerous articles. Bill spent the first 21 years of his career working with some of the most prestigious corporate names in the UK: GEC, Ford, BOC and Abbey Life. Eighteen years ago he set up his own business specialising in outplacement, training and executive search. For the past 12 years he has focused on executive coaching and mentoring, working with CEOs and senior executives in one-to-one and team development situations. Bill is co-author of Executive Express. Bill abandoned football and athletics some years ago for the rather less vigorous, but equally enjoyable, pleasures of golf.
