The Researcher Development Initiative (RDI) supported the training and development of researchers in the social sciences at all stages of their career. RDI was established by the ESRC's Training and Development Board to contribute to the development of a robust national training infrastructure, which was intended to develop research training in a systematic way. RDI programme was coordinated by Professor Mike Wallace from Cardiff University... The National Centre for Research Methods (NCRM) delivers cutting-edge research methods training and capacity building across the UK. We provide courses and resources for both learners and trainers, supporting the research community in the social sciences and beyond... In addition to our training, we produce learning materials, host an extensive library of online resources, conduct research and support innovation in research methods.
