I am a qualified fine artist and teacher. I love painting, drawing and life. My work, I hope spreads optimism, humour, and small delights found in everyday life. I aim to spread positivity through art and inspire others to do the same. I am a believer that everyone can draw and through experience know undoubtedly that art makes us stop and see the world differently... During the start of the pandemic, I arrived back in the same village in which I was born with my five feline rescue cats. Living a quintessentially Rusper life is my main source of inspiration. I love using watercolour and gouache together to make layers and allowing the unexpected to happen in a controlled kind of way. The translucency of the watercolour and the opaque gouache are a great mix for me. For canvas and large paintings, I often choose Acrylic Gouache. I love to paint things that bring me joy of the everyday. Using everyday subjects, playing with composition, perspective and colour I hope to give the viewer..
