Alfonso Gómez Palacio

Alfonso Gómez Palacio is a Colombian lawyer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. He has studies in Political Science at Loras College (Dubuque - USA) and Taxation at Universidad del Rosario. He is a member of Telefónica Group since 2006. In 2002 he presided Telecom, a state-owned telecommunications company, where he led its liquidation process and the creation of Colombia Telecomunicaciones, the new operator of the telecommunications services. In 2006, he was in charge of the capitalization of Colombia Telecomunicaciones, a process that allowed Telefonica Group´s incorporation to Colombia Telecomunicaciones, thus becoming CEO of the fixed operation. Between 2007 and 2016 he held the position of Executive Chairman of Telefonica in Colombia. Among the main achievements was the merger between the fixed and the mobile operation of the Group in 2012, as well as the re-negotiation of the contract with the Colombian Government, achieving the reduction of the Nation´s participation in the Company. In 2017, he became CEO of Telefonica Colombia. During this last year he has been responsible for the financial and operating performance of the integrated company in Colombia.

Andrea Folgueiras

Andrea Folgueiras is an Electronic Engineer from the University of Buenos Aires and completed a Master of Business Administration at ESEADE. She has accumulated over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications sector, holding positions of responsibility in various countries. In 1991, she joined the Telefónica Group in Argentina, where she was appointed Chief Technology Officer (CTO) in 1997. In 2007, she assumed the role of Technology Management Director at Telefónica Deutschland, and in 2013, she was appointed CTO of Telefónica Brazil. Since 2016, she has held the position of Director of Technology and Information (CTIO) for HispAm region (8 countries). She is a member of the Internet for All Councils in Peru, and of Onnet Fibra in Colombia and Chile. In April 2025, she was appointed to the Executive Committee of the Telefónica Group as Chief Technology and Information Officer (CTIO).

Borja Ochoa Gil

He holds a degree in Business Management and Administration from the University of Lincoln (United Kingdom), an MBA from ESEUNE Business School and a Postgraduate Degree in e-Commerce and Technology from the University of California, Berkeley. He joined the Executive Committee of the Telefónica Group in April 2025 as CEO of Telefónica Spain, assuming responsibility for all operations in the Spanish market. Since 2002, he has developed his career at Indra, holding several positions of responsibility in the units of Technology Consulting, Financial Services Market, CEO of Minsait Payments and General Manager of Minsait, with responsibility for all the verticals and markets of the company. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Indra Group Executive Committee, and in 2023 he assumed the management of the Defence and Security business unit. Prior to his time at Indra, he held various positions at Daimler Benz Aerospace (Germany) and Telli.com (San Francisco, United States).

Christian Gebara

Christian holds a degree in Business Administration from the Getúlio Vargas Foundation - São Paulo and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business - Stanford University. He joined Telefónica in June 2006 as Director of Quality and Processes, Telefónica España. In 2008 he assumed the position of Director in the area of Strategy and Regulation in TISA. Previous experience includes Citibank, Banco ABC Roma in Sao Paulo, JP Morgan Chase in New York and McKinsey & Company in Spain. En 2011, con la integración Telefónica Vivo, asumió la Vicepresidencia de Estrategia y Nuevos Negocios y un año más tarde (2012) la Vicepresidencia de Negocio In 2011, with the integration of Telefónica Vivo, he became Vice President of Strategy and New Businesses and one year later (2012) Vice-President of Mobile Business. Eduardo Navarro

Eduardo holds a Metallurgical Engineering degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Before assuming the position of Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer, Eduardo was President and CEO of Telefônica Brasil | Vivo, and held key global positions in the Telefónica Group, including Chief Commercial Digital Officer (CCDO) and Director of Strategy and Business Development. He was also Director of Strategic Planning and Regulatory Affairs for Telefónica Internacional. Eduardo joined Telefónica in 1999, as Vice-President of Corporate Strategy and Regulatory Affairs for Telefónica Brazil. Before joining the Telefónica Group, he was a consultant at McKinsey & Co., where he led Telecommunications and Infrastructure projects in Latin America, Europe and Africa. He began his career as an engineer in the Brazilian operation of ARBED, a steel and iron producer.

Juan Azcue Vich

Juan Azcue holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Complutense University of Madrid. He began his career in the Madrid office of KPMG in 1999, first in the audit area and later in the Corporate Finance team. In 2004 he joined the Mergers and Acquisitions team of Telefonica SA, where he participated in the execution of landmark transactions such as the acquisition of O2, the privatisation of Cesky Telecom or the acquisition of 50% of VIVO. In 2019 he took over the management of this area, and since then he has led the execution of strategic transactions such as the merger of O2 with Virgin Media in the UK or the sale of Telxius' tower business. Laura Abasolo

Laura Abasolo holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration studies from Universidad Comercial de Deusto and an MBA in International Business from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. She began her career in the Telefónica Group in 1999 as Director of the Control Department in Terra Networks, S.A. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2003, joining its Executive Committee. She joined Telefónica, S.A. in 2005 as Director of Budgeting and Control and was promoted in December 2007 to Managing Director of Planning, Budgeting and Control of Telefónica, S.A. She joined its Executive Committee in March 2014. In 2016, she is also named Head of the Accounting and Tax areas and in July 2017 she is appointed Chief Finance and Control Officer. Since November 2019, she is Chief of the Procurement and Supply Chain division. In February 2020 she also headed Corporate Development, this role until September 2021, and Head of Telefónica HispAm from November 2019 until March 2025. She is member of the Board of Directors of VMO2 joint venture since June 2021 and Chairperson of its Audit Committee. Laura Abasolo was member of the Supervisory Board of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG, since 2015 and Chairperson from May 2018 to March 2020. She was also member of its Remuneration Committee and its Audit Committee since 2015 to April 2019. In June 2021 she is appointed member of the of the Advisory Board of Telefónica de España and of the Advisory Board of Telefónica HispAm and Member of the Board of Trustees of Telefónica Foundation since December 2017. Laura Abasolo served as non-executive Member of the Board of Directors of Telefónica Chile, S.A. from 2016 until May 2017. From 2016 until June 2018, she was also Member of the Board and Chairperson of the Audit and Control Committee of Acerinox, S.A. She started her professional career at Goldman Sachs International in London, in the Investment Banking Division, participating in equity and M&A deals mainly across Europe. Outside Telefónica, she is trustee of Fundación Lealtad. She was born in Bilbao (Spain) in 1972.

Lutz Schüler

Lutz previously served as CEO of Virgin Media from June 2019 to May 2021, after spending ten months as the company's Chief Operating Officer. Lutz is also a member of the Liberty Global Executive Leadership Team. Prior to his time at Virgin Media, Lutz was CEO of Unity Media, a position he held from January 2011. While at Unity Media, he played a key role in the acquisition of Kabel BW by Liberty Global and the subsequent integration of both companies. He served in several senior management roles with the Telefónica O2 group from 1998 onwards, lastly leading the integration of Hansenet Telekommunication GmbH as its CEO in Hamburg, when it was acquired by Telefónica O2 in early 2010. From 2006 to 2010, he was Managing Director, Marketing & Sales for Telefónica O2 in Germany. Before joining Telefónica O2 in 1998, he worked as a product manager with T-Mobile.

Markus Haas

Markus Haas is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG as of January 2017. In this role, he also continues to manage the company's core operating business, which he has overseen as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2014. His responsibilities as COO also included the operational integration of Telefónica and E-Plus following the acquisition in 2014 and the successful realisation of the synergies anticipated as a result. Under his management, Telefónica recently also revolutionised the German mobile telecommunications market once again with the launch of O2 Free, by far the most customer-friendly mobile data product. Being a fully qualified lawyer, Markus Haas has been working for Telefónica in various management positions since 1998. In 2009 he was appointed to the executive board and since 2012 he is member of the board of directors of Telefónica Deutschland Holding AG, where he most recently steered the company strategy. In this position he was mainly responsible for the successful acquisition of E-Plus group. Previously he played significant roles in the acquisition and integration of HanseNet, the LTE spectrum auction and Telefónica Deutschland´s successful IPO. Under his conduct of negotiations Telefónica Deutschland entered commercially important strategic partnerships with Deutsche Telekom AG, Versatel GmbH and Drillisch AG among others. Markus Haas started his career in the legal affairs and regulatory division at Telefónica in Germany in 1998 - at that time Viag Interkom - and subsequently worked as Executive Assistant of the CFO. Afterwards, he steered as Vice President the Corporate & Legal Affairs department with commercial responsibility for the roaming- and wholesale network-business. Markus Haas was born in Munich in 1972, is married and has two children.

Marta Machicot

Marta Machicot holds a law degree from the University of Navarra and MBA from the Instituto de Empresa. She is a member of the Telefónica Group since 1998. Her professional experience has always been developed in the area of Human Resources in multinational companies, starting her professional career at ABN AMRO Bank and Andersen Consulting. Marta joined Telefónica in 1998 and held the position of Human Resources Director of Telefónica DataCorp. Later, she was Director of Development of Corporate Human Resources. From 2006 to 2012 she was Director of Talent Management at Telefónica Spain, later joining Telefónica Digital as HR Director. In 2015, she was appointed HR Director of Telefónica's Global Units. Sebas Muriel holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, an Executive MBA from IESE Business School (University of Navarra) and a Finance Development Program at Instituto de Empresa. Since April 2025, he has been appointed to the Executive Committee of the Telefónica Group as Chief Digital Officer of the company and CEO of Telefónica Innovación Digital. In this role, he will be at the forefront of the strategy for innovation, data, platforms and new digital products and services, also leading Telefónica Open Gateway, the initiative to open the company's networks and offer telco capabilities through global and standardized APIs. Muriel has accumulated over two decades of experience in senior management roles across various companies in the sector, with a proven track record in digital business and transformation strategy within large corporations. From January 2022 until his return to Telefónica, he was CEO of GroupM in Spain, WPP's media agency group, a global leader in marketing and creative transformation services. This will be his second tenure at Telefónica, where he has already spent 11 years carrying out different responsibilities. He was the CEO of Tuenti Technologies and the global director of Customer Experience, where he boosted the launch and exponential growth of MiMovistar / MeuVivo / MyO2 in eight countries. Sebas has previously developed his career in several technology companies, including Hewlett Packard and Lucent Technologies (Bell Labs) and PwC, until his appointment as CEO of red.es. He is a regular author of papers, publications, and conferences, and actively participates in sectoral forums and congresses. Muriel is also a Business Angel and investor in different start-ups and has been a member of the Academic Council of ISDI (Digitalent Group) since its foundation.
