At Townhead we pride ourselves on not only having wonderful 'old world' character but also all the modern amenities that you would expect while you are away from your own home. Bonsall is a great place both to live and visit with our 2 amazing pubs - The Kings Head - 300 yds and The Barley Mow - about half a mile. We also have the Fountain Cafe and The cafe in St James' which is open Saturday Sunday and Monday between 12 and 3pm. There are a wealth of footpaths to explore (each one a miners way to work) and we also offer cycle storage so that you can bring your bike and discover the lanes and tracks that make the area so special... Townhead Farmhouse offers bed and breakfast accommodation in an 18th Century farmhouse in the charming village of Bonsall near Matlock. It makes the perfect base for those wishing to explore the Peak District and Derbyshire Dales.
