TULLEYS FARM

The farming story at Tulleys began with Bernard Beare, originally from Devon. His family business, Beare & Sons, was a successful agricultural engineering firm, but Bernard chose to pursue farming in 1911. Over the next 25 years he gradually moved east, settling in 1937 at Worth Hall Farm. With his young family, Bernard transformed what had been a modest dairy farm on the edge of the Sussex Weald into a thriving enterprise. Alongside the dairy herd, he produced salad crops for the London markets, vegetables for pickling companies such as Epicure, and herbs including mint and parsley for contract growing... Alongside these seasonal highlights, we also offer year-round experiences.
