Antonia Bance is the TUC's head of campaigns and communications. She leads all of the TUC's campaigning work, including our campaign against the Trade Union Act in 2015-16, and our campaigning at the 2016 EU referendum. Antonia also leads the TUC's young workers programme. She is responsible for our innovation programme, including setting up the TUC's WorkSmart app, a digital trade union offer for 21-30s.
Antonia was previously domestic violence charity SafeLives' director of policy and communications in 2014-15. From 2011-2014, she was head of campaigns for Shelter, leading Shelter's public campaigns to build more homes and fix private renting. Antonia has also worked on campaigning and public policy for the Diana Memorial Fund, Oxfam and YWCA.
Antonia is a former local councillor and cabinet member, and is a trustee of the Nationwide Foundation.
Antonia leads all of the TUC's parliamentary, media, campaigning and communications activity, and has particular responsibility for digital and organising young workers who aren't in unions.

Kate is also a member of the Low Pay Commission, representing workers.
Kate Bell is Assistant General Secretary and supports Paul Nowak in leading the TUC.
Kate works with external stakeholders on behalf of the TUC and is responsible for inter-union relations. She also leads on internal TUC matters.
Kate joined the TUC in 2016 as the organisation's head of economics, international and employment rights department.

Kevin is responsible for the TUC's public policy influencing on public services and health & safety, and leads the TUC's organising, reps training and support to unions. He also leads the TUC's unionlearn programme to help union members get new skills, and manages the TUC's regional offices and TUC Wales.

Matilda leads the TUC's finance, IT and human resources functions, and is responsible for Congress Centre, the TUC's conference and events business.

Nicola leads the TUC's work on boosting employment rights, promoting social and economic policies that benefit working people, and building international solidarity.
Paul was a member of the first intake of the TUC's Organising Academy in 1998 - alongside Sharon Graham, now General Secretary of Unite and Roz Foyer, the General Secretary of the Scottish TUC. Aged 26, he became an organiser for BIFU, the financial services union (now part of Unite).
Paul leads the TUC. He's our chief spokesperson, and is responsible to the General Council for the day-to-day running of the organisation. Paul has held this post since January 2023.

Shavanah Taj is General Secretary of the Wales Trades Union Congress (TUC), previously a position held by Martin Mansfield. The team are responsible for TUC activity on issues that are the responsibility of the Welsh government. Wales TUC
Sian is the senior policy officer leading the public services team at the TUC. Sian leads on public spending, public sector pay and pensions, the NHS, civil service and the TUC's economy-wide campaign ‘Britain needs a pay rise'.
