David trained and worked professionally as an actor for 18 years before becoming an agent in 2001 and creating a leading London agency. In 2010 he became co-chair of the Artists' PMA. The PMA (Personal Managers' Association) is the leading professional body for literary and theatrical agencies in the UK. Between them, they manage the careers of almost all the UK's dramatists and screenwriters, actors, directors and creatives both in the UK and abroad.
When not securing work for his clients, David can be found trekking through jungles, climbing mountains or exploring the world's most exciting cities in search of a great photo opportunity.
Paul trained and worked professionally as an actor building a strong network of contacts and industry knowledge, before discovering his love of agenting in 2001. After many years heading a TV & Film department in a leading West End agency, he went into partnership to launch Sainou with David Marsden.
Paul's other passions include travel, film and football. Although as a supporter of the less than successful Sunderland, it's a subject best avoided.
A Mancunian, Theresa studied at London University and focused on the creative arts. Initially working at Hampstead Theatre, she soon found agenting to be her passion and with over 25 years of experience has held senior positions with several of London's leading agencies.
Her other passion is travel, Italy being more than an occasional destination, she makes sure that she spends some time there each year.
