Billie joined Academics in 2011, and during this time she has successfully grown a Nursery, Primary and Secondary desk. Billie currently looks after all the Primary schools within Portsmouth and the surrounding areas which is one of the busiest desks within the company. Before her life in Education recruitment, Billie was an estate agent with a local company for 4 years. After successfully exceeding targets and personal milestones within that sector, Billie decided that a career change was needed and so she started at academics. In her spare time she enjoys running and attending music events amongst shopping and socialising.

Elle-Marie is the newest member of the team, joining Academics in September 2019 after graduating from Cardiff Metropolitan with a First Classification Honours Degree in Sport and Physical Education. During her under-graduate degree, Elle-Marie was a well-respected Cover Supervisor working across multiple secondary schools in the South Wales Area. Elle-Marie has been able to transfer her knowledge of the industry into positive relationships with candidates and clients. As a Resourcer for both primary and secondary at Academics, Elle-Marie is always on the lookout for exceptional teachers, teaching assistants and cover supervisors to continue to provide quality candidates to clients.
Evie has been recruiting teachers and support staff since September 2016. Prior to working in recruitment, Evie completed her PGCE and was a History Teacher, so understands the high demands placed on both teachers and schools. Since September 2020, Evie has been working closely with Primary Schools and Teachers within Manchester and Salford, helping them solve their day to day and long term recruitment needs. Her background had historically been in permanent recruitment for Secondary Schools, so she is also able to help out in this area. As the Branch Manager for our Manchester Office, she will be on hand to answer any queries about Academics, so please get in touch!
Jonny is a born and bred true Guilfordian, he has been recruiting teachers for nearly 8 years now. Having worked in recruitment for nearly 10 years and having come from running his own education recruitment company he brings with him expert local knowledge and brilliant working relationships that he has built up over the years. Jonny enjoys playing golf in his spare time and for his sins supports Chelsea.

Linda joined Academics as Branch Manager in 2018. With extensive experience in the recruitment industry Linda has worked in Education Recruitment since 2007, mainly in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. She is well known amongst the schools in the area as, at one time or another, she has dealt with most of them meeting their short or long term recruitment needs. Linda is a fully qualified recruiter and holds a Diploma in Recruitment Practice from the REC. She also has a Certificate in Business Management from the Open University.
Linda believes customer service, candidate quality and attention to detail are key to success in the Education Recruitment sector. She is focussed on getting her team to perform to the highest levels and meet these key benchmarks. She still operates her own desk, providing supply teachers, long term cover and permanent posts to her schools in Hull and East Yorkshire.
When not at work she is busy with her grown up daughter and husband at their home in Beverley. Linda is an avid runner and has completed marathons in the UK and overseas. She is also a qualified coach, introducing people to running for the first time. Her ambition is to run the Marathon des Sables, a multi day event across the Sahara desert!
Nigel recently joined Academics after running his own independent education supply agency on the Isle of Wight. With nearly twenty five years' experience of teaching, middle, and senior leadership within schools and colleges, as well as management experience within motorway services, Nigel has experienced many of the problems schools and colleges face in maintaining a full, consistent and high quality staffing complement. Nigel studied Hospitality Management at university before working in the catering industry. Shortly afterwards he began his teaching career, qualifying as a teacher and also achieving a post graduate Diploma in Management Studies. Nigel is married with three grown up children, and has lived on the Isle of Wight for twenty five years. He is a very keen cyclist and supports the South Coast football team who gained promotion to the premiership this season!

Rob is a determined dedicated member of the Doncaster South Yorkshire division and a highly regarded Education Recruitment Specialist who supports schools and candidates across the South Yorkshire and local regions. Rob prides himself on his close working partnership with his candidates and schools. He enjoys building new relations and working partnerships. He firmly believes that as an education recruitment consultant we can make a difference to the quality of education our children receive and he is passionate about ensuring that he provides schools with the high calibre solutions and a value added service to the schools. For Academics, he will be the main point of contact for our Secondary Professionals.
