QResearch is a not for profit collaboration between the University of Oxford and EMIS (the leading IT supplier for computer systems in primary care)... QResearch is hosted within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Medicine Sciences Division, University of Oxford.​... QResearch was established in 2003 as a not-for-profit venture with the generous support of the University of Nottingham and EMIS Health. In 2019 it relocated to the University of Oxford, following the appointment of its academic co-founder, Professor Julia Hippisley-Cox to the University of Oxford. The database is now supported by the University of Oxford and EMIS Health.
