Seagry Stud in North Wiltshire was established as a high class breeding yard for quality dressage horses. It is situated in the picturesque village of Upper Seagry and occupies a new state of the art facility with well maintained post and railed pasture. The focus at Seagry Stud is on breeding outstanding Dressage horses using the best bloodlines available. As a principle the broodmares themselves are either competition proven or come from competition proven mare bloodlines. We seek to produce that ‘Something Special' where temperament, trainability, conformation and movement are paramount. No stallions are based on the yard as we seek to use the very best stallions from anywhere in Europe to best match our own mares. Embryo Transfer figures prominently in our breeding programmes. Our belief is that by doing this we can produce really outstanding British bred horses.
