Cure Parkinson's is the only organisation in the UK solely dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's, the fastest growing neurological condition in the world. All of our work goes towards finding ways to slow, stop or reverse the condition... Cure Parkinson's was set up in 2005 by four people living with Parkinson's. Frustrated by the lack of progress in research or curative treatments, Tom Isaacs, Sir Richard Nichols, Air Vice Marshal Michael Dicken and Sir David Jones set up Cure Parkinson's to focus on research projects with the potential to slow, stop or reverse the progression of Parkinson's - to find a cure... Since 2005, Cure Parkinson's has committed more than £25 million of funding for Parkinson's research into over 80 separate research projects, and leveraged a further £100 million in funding from partner organisations.
