Jay Dawson is a qualified Landscape Architect and Garden Designer with a flair for creating naturalistic and original designs. With over 12 years' experience as a professional Landscape Architect Jay's specialism is in his technical excellence where he combines an acute spatial awareness with a passion for the environment.
Previously Jay worked within a large multi-disciplinary landscape architecture practice and has worked on numerous high profile projects throughout the UK and abroad, including large scale urban design, highway and housing schemes, industrial, commercial and retail sites through to residential garden schemes.
Often occupied at the technical end of the company, Jay is fastidious about detail and leads the majority of landscape architecture and computer generated projects for the practice.
Bespoke design detailing and original thinking are key components in any projects he delivers, with groundbreaking and inspiring results. Alongside Sadie, Jay has worked on 14 award-winning show gardens at Hampton Court Palace and Chelsea Flower Show including five gardens in 2019 for the Original Muck Boot Company at RHS shows and being awarded the highest accolade at each show including two 'best in show' medals.
Jay finds inspiration from art, nature, sustainable thinking and the environment. Jay is a keen photographer and loves to be outdoors in any weather. When he is not working he is often hiking, camping, rock climbing, tending to the garden or walking Brian the dog.
