Myriad Editions, an independent publisher originally based in Brighton, developed a distinctive style of publishing original fiction, graphic novels and feminist nonfiction... Myriad's original mission was to seek out home-grown talent and publish debut authors from Brighton and beyond. Between 2005 and 2022 it launched the careers of more than 150 authors whose books were well-reviewed and lauded. Among them were winners of the Authors' Club Best First Novel Award, Jhalak Prize, Diverse Book Awards, East Anglian Book Awards and the Arnold Bennett Prize, with runners up for other prestigious awards, including the Women's Prize, CWA Ian Fleming Steel Dagger, Polari First Book, Historical Writers' Association, British Book Design and Production, Wales Book of the Year, Prix des Lecteurs, BMA Medical Book, and the Premio Letterario.
