Craig Poppleton

Job Titles:
  • Specialist Consultant
I spent my younger years moving from country to country, experiencing living in different cultures around the world. I like to believe that this has given me a strong global outlook on life and a very accepting appetite for change. It was in Holland where I started my career with DHL in 2002 and had 19 years in various positions running programs for some of the largest multinationals such as Microsoft, Ford, VW, Robert Bosch, Goodyear, among others. I was responsible for supporting the global operations setup and running a variety of projects from continuous improvement, Recovery to Change & Transformation projects. I held a pivoting role influencing internal & external stakeholders from shop floor to leadership level, Project Governance and the facilitation of workshops. I am qualified in Prince II, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, scrum and am an accomplished facilitator, all of which allow me to call on a vast range of tools and methods to help me adapt different approaches to solving problems. In 2019 I made the step to support Micro Businesses and SME's focus on the basics of their business using the tools and methods I have learnt over the last 20 years. There are two key areas of a business that I believe are overlooked. One is the clear understanding and constant review of processes which are the foundation of a business and the other being the employees who are vital for completing the necessary tasks for that business. If these are looked after it allows a business to thrive and the owner has all the time needed to work on their business and not in it.
