Adrian is a qualified Architect and Chartered Architectural Technologist and has worked with various companies in Cork working on an extensive range of projects. Adrian has gained considerable experience in all aspects of the project life cycle, from inception to completion. Adrian's overall area of expertise / responsibility is Design, Technical delivery and Management of the projects. Adrian has a wide range of experience working on projects from design stage to completion on-site and is experienced leading projects.
Highly selective in identifying current and future trends, Amy employs interior design as a strategic tool to measurably improve workplace performance for innovative clients. A leader of the Interior Design Group within our practice, Amy's deep knowledge of brand integration and application creates influential projects that powerfully communicate brand to the workforce and the wider community.

As Marketing Director, Barra works collaboratively to lead and streamline RKD's marketing & communications and to promote design thinking across the organisation. His responsibilities extend to supervision of RKD's brand and management of our quality management systems to maintain independent certification to the ISO 9001 standard. He advises the management team on all aspects of marketing, communications and branding, shaping strategy to develop and execute effective marketing projects and communication campaigns.
Focused on providing design service to healthcare and well-being projects across Ireland's South-East region, Brian leads our Waterford office. His extensive experience encompasses the development and delivery of critical projects for public and private sector clients. He is trusted by healthcare providers to design and manage greenfield projects as well as integrated refurbishment and extension within highly-serviced live environments.
Always sensitive to local context, Carol helps clients to develop projects that achieve commercial success without compromising community well-being. Her long-range design thinking considers the entire project life-cycle. This benefits every aspect of development from streamlining of the planning process, to construction efficiency, and beyond as projects increasingly contribute to their local environments over time.
Transforming detailed functional requirements into legible information packages, Conor leverages deep understanding of complex industrial processes to produce effective and actionable construction documentation. His site supervision capability facilitates the efficient and coordinated execution of multi-disciplinary work on sites where frenetic construction activity often coincides with critical ongoing production operations.
Damien has experience as a design coordinator across multidisciplinary design teams. He also has experience in project delivery and site inspection, BIM modelling/review, and detailing. He has worked on several datacentre projects with multi-discipline co-ordination of BIM models and design.
Specialising in commercial design and fit out implementation, Danielle's passion for anticipating workplace design trends informs every aspect of her work. She is decisive in her ability to orchestrate and implement harmonious design solutions from the many hundreds-sometimes thousands-of individual details, materials, finishes, and furniture items, that comprise a typically complex commercial project. A brand thinker, she takes inspiration from implementing design for some of the world's most innovative companies.
As Director of RKD and Former President of the Royal Institute of the Architects in Ireland, David is one of Ireland's well known design leaders promoting the value that architecture brings to society for the benefit of all.
He is internationally recognised for his ability to unite and lead design teams, advancing a legacy of architectural excellence built over four generations. In recent years, David has been primarily involved in business development with RKD while continuing to work on early project concept design, masterplanning and practice management. David is a great team player and has the ability to see the bigger picture and the value of collaboration where many others don't.
Widely recognised and respected as an industry leader, David heads our Commercial and Retail Design Groups. His practical economic sense and can-do attitude create buildings and spaces for clients that form the physical manifestation of their organisational vision. He uses design responsibly as a force for positive change, helping clients to successfully navigate challenges in their real estate portfolios. David is chair of the large practice forum of the RIAI.
As one of the most experienced Building Information Modelling (BIM) designers in RKD, Deborah plays a central role in ensuring that the creation, transfer and use of information adds value to projects during the design, construction and operation of the building. She develops and administers the protocols for project team's engagement with BIM and uses her understanding of lean management principles and BIM processes to help the project team maximise its efforts and deliver value for money to the project.
Employing design as a strategic tool, Denis is recognised as one of Ireland's foremost design thinkers and project advisers. He leads the Educational and Healthcare Design Groups within our practice. His commitment to sustainable design drives our sustainability agenda and his personal mentorship transforms emerging talent into design leadership.
Drawing from an extensive network of industry peers and partners, Derek is renowned for his ability to discretely orchestrate multi-stakeholder project teams. He champions communication to deliver complex business-critical facilities for major multinational clients. His pragmatic project management ethos is demonstrated by a sociable approach to teamwork.

His deep technical knowledge of construction incorporates integration of specialist process and research equipment. Capable of informing commercial strategy, she is trusted by landlord clients to deliver projects that attract and retain exceptional tenants.
Combining extensive architectural and fit out design expertise with qualified knowledge of construction technology, Eugene's solution-focused approach enables clients to maximise the design potential of their projects. His leadership and professional influence extends to membership of the RIAI Board of Architectural Education, the RIAI Admissions Committee, and the panel of assessors for candidates wishing to join the Register of Architects in Ireland.
As a recognised practitioner in the highly specialised area of technical design and process integration, Geert leads the Mission-Critical Design Group within our practice. He helps clients to develop high-tech (bio)pharma, research, food & beverage, and data centre projects that sustain business growth. His vast experience, coupled with his meticulous approach, provides the basis for much of his work both nationally and internationally. He leads the RKD EMEA Group with offices in Belgium, Sweden and Italy.
As RKD's Finance Director, Ger leads our team of internal financial project managers to provide clients with a fully-integrated design-led 'one stop shop' solution. She works closely and collaboratively with our Project Directors and with the wider external design team, giving our clients the peace of mind they need to focus on successful outcomes rather than the day-to-day financial management and legal coordination of complex multi-disciplinary team operations.
Having demonstrated leadership, project management, and project delivery excellence on a range of projects, Gopal is widely recognised for his ability to bring consensus to the table for design and construction matters alike. He leads our dedicated BC(a)R team and is integrally involved across multiple work sectors, with specialist expertise in design for third-level education. As a recognised thought leader, Gopal contributes to the RIAI on the BC(a)R Code of Practice, the delivery of GCCC Forms of Contract, and he sits on the RIAI Practice Committee.
With a very creative, collaborative, and open approach to design concepts, Harry's pragmatic methods to effectively develop the design and coordination of complex buildings with the design team allow for successful delivery of built projects. He specialises in high-density mixed use commercial residential projects with experience in masterplanning, urban regeneration, office buildings, and interiors.
Effortlessly blending creative and analytical thinking, Jim uses design to help clients envision new ways of working, coupled with qualified project management capability to achieve successful practical outcomes. Colleagues and clients alike know him to be highly driven, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities for incorporating wide-ranging creative interests such as photography into his work. His process-oriented approach is suitably demonstrated by qualification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor and continued studies in Law (BA) and Construction Law (Advanced Dip) with the Law Society of Ireland.

He creates efficient space planning through objective-oriented design to maximise economic opportunity, expertly informing sustainable financial decision-making throughout the project life cycle. His collaborative approach to permitting provides project programme compliance and project delivery assurance for clients with mission-critical objectives.
Commanding a deep understanding of the construction and development industry, Johan possesses specialist knowledge of design and delivery for pharmaceutical, food and beverage, healthcare, and commercial development projects. As leader of our Cork office he is responsible for client liaison, architectural design, masterplanning, business development, and risk management.
Expert at navigating complex multi-stakeholder projects through complicated regulatory environments, John personifies the ability to translate extreme amounts of detail into simple, clear, and effective project communications. He demonstrates this skill across many different work sectors within RKD. With a calm, level-headed nature, John is entrusted by clients to design and deliver projects of critical importance.
A leading member of our Mission-Critical Design Group, Kevin assumes responsibility for the coordination of the multi-disciplinary project design team. By collaborating with the client's engineering team Kevin facilitates an integrated approach to ensure full implementation of client requirements across disciplines. He coordinates the smooth transfer of information between the client team and all sub-contractors across the project life span.
Kevin has worked on a variety of projects, both in Ireland and abroad, across sectors such as industrial, pharmaceutical, educational, retail, healthcare, mixed-use and master planning. With this experience he commands wide knowledge of the construction industry and working environment.
He is highly experienced in working on projects from inception to completion and has been the Architectural Construction Lead on several large projects involving the coordination of structural, civil and mechanical disciplines. He has extensive experience in compiling planning, tender and construction documentation.
Specialising in technical delivery and international site coordination of EMEA projects, Kieran assists clients with the design and development of complex production and mission-critical facilities. His design knowledge additionally extends across an eclectic mix of other work types. His no-nonsense approach to project management benefits both greenfield and brownfield projects as well as site selection studies and design localisation for multinational clients. With a wealth of international experience, his hands-on and collaborative methodology drives project success from inception to completion.
As Financial Controller, Laura is a key member of the RKD Finance Team for national and international accounting operations, compliance and project management. Laura joined RKD in 2013, having previously worked with large multinational corporations both at home and overseas within the pharmaceutical and insurance sectors. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Member of ACA.
