Edinburgh Designs Ltd has its roots in the Wave Power Group at the University of Edinburgh in the late 1970's where the first force-absorbing wide tank was created to test Stephen Salter's Duck wave power generator. Since the company was formed in 1987, over 2000 paddles have been installed in 27 different countries... Since 1987, we have worked on many different projects across the world and have installed over 2000 wave paddles in over 120 tanks in 27 countries... Our customers have different research goals so our products are continuously being adapted and improved to provide solutions that fit each user's needs.
