Throughout his long involvement with the marine business, Nick travelled extensively to meet industry leaders and to report on companies and markets in over 60 countries in the Far East, South America, Australasia, North America and Europe.
Nick has also provided market due intelligence to a number of high-profile private equity and marine trade investors.
Now recently retired from publishing IBI, Nick is turning his attention together with Thom Dammrich,the ex- president of the NationalMarine Manufacturers Association in the US, supported by Marine Resources, to assisting companies and shareholders with their requirements to appoint senior board level executives.

Oliver brings nearly 20 years of senior recruitment experience to Marine Resources, working with some premier recruitment names across a wide range of business sectors from Investment banking to Central Government. He has a strong track record of recruiting senior hires into businesses to affect change both within the UK and abroad.
Alongside this, he is also a professional sailor competing on some of the top racing circuits both nationally and internationally. Winning his first national title at the age of 17 he has continued successfully since competing in multiple European and World Championships and finished second at the Melges European 2021 championships alongside other strong results.
Having been heavily invested in the marine industry all his life through his passion for sailing/racing it made complete sense to combine the two elements of recruitment and the marine industry.
Oliver currently heads up the Sales Marketing and Operations division alongside building the Senior Commercial market across the Marine industry.
