SWIMRITE LEISURE - Key Persons

Rastrick Pool is a newly designed purpose built teaching pool opened in 2002 to replace the original which had been used since 1993. It is dedicated solely for use of Swimrite Pupils, with warmer pool water suitable for babies through to intermediate standard. This also makes it less intimidating for the nervous toddler right through to nervous adults who have tried elsewhere and not succeeded and thought they never would. There is a dedicated seated viewing area for parents with ample space. In May 1997 Swimrite Leisure opened its newly designed and purpose built swimming pool in Ploughcroft, Halifax. It was designed purely to accommodate 3 teaching stations at any one time. It is a dedicated teaching & training pool solely for the use of Swimrite Members', catering from babies classes through to honours standard leading to competitive level at local swimming clubs.
