Nova Laboratories is one of the UK's leading independent suppliers of both Specials and Clinical Trial medicines to healthcare professionals... Nova Laboratories was established in 1994 by a group of ex-NHS pharmacy staff, and we continue to be privately owned and funded... However, from its inception, Nova Laboratories also provided sterile and non-sterile clinical trials medication to a global customer base of pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, academic and charitable institutions, as well as the NHS. In particular, we have developed extensive expertise in the use of high-integrity, gassed isolator technology (acknowledged by regulators as ‘Advanced Aseptic Technology'). Our ability to perform complex and novel aseptic processes has resulted in clinical manufacturing of parenterals and devices becoming the largest and fastest growing of our manufacturing activities, and has also allowed us to develop commercial manufacturing processes for specialist sterile products.
