INFOMEDIA - Key Persons

Aaron Duncan

Job Titles:
  • Editor
  • Director of Photography
Aaron has an extensive background in freelance videography and editing, and we couldn't be more thankful that he joined us full time at Infomedia. Aaron has been working with local Birmingham artists for the past 3 years, producing music videos and helping them bring their projects to life, and he does the same for our clients - the quality and timeliness of his work is unmatched. When he's not putting together videos for our clients, you'll likely find Aaron going to the movies or enjoying a relaxing night in with his cat, Grayce.

Alana Harmond

Job Titles:
  • Developer
  • Marketing Manager
Alana has always had a love for writing and all things creative. She's a UAB alum with a degree in Marketing and concentration in social media management, and she now carries her passion into her position at Infomedia as Marketing Manager. Alana's responsibilities vary from day to day, and she wouldn't want it any other way. Whether she's planning our social media strategy, producing our podcast or optimizing a paid ad campaign, Alana's always working her marketing magic (and having fun doing it). Outside of work, you'll often find Alana hanging out with her friends, her mini goldendoodle, Demi, and her cats, Iver and Rosy. She also enjoys singing and playing guitar, taking care of 50+ houseplants, and compiling "one second every day" videos (she's been making them since her 21st birthday!).

Anna Wilt

Job Titles:
  • Marketing Manager
  • Copy Manager
As a self-proclaimed "non-athlete" who somehow managed to play every sport you can think of during her time in school, Anna knows a thing or two about getting outside of her comfort zone. Anna's our Copy Manager, meaning that she handles all things copy - from website copy to blogs to social media captions (and lots of things in between). Her background in both traditional and digital marketing, combined with her passion for writing and strong organizational skills, means that Anna thrives in this writing-focused role. Outside of work, you'll probably find Anna hanging out with her husband, Jacob, and their three fur babies: Oliver (a cat), Noodles (also a cat) and Onix (a black lab).

Brad Davis

Job Titles:
  • Head of Development
Brad's never shy about giving a frank assessment of a difficult project - but he'll also be the first to step up to the plate and find a way around the challenges. He develops stellar looking websites by facing problems head-on, giving constructive feedback and keeping team morale high. Brad may be our resident grump, but he's also eager to lend a hand in a crisis, and he's calm even in the face of meltdowns. Want to soften him up? Buy him lunch from Taco Truck (Taqueria Guzman), or ask him about life at home with his wife, Kate, sons, Amon and Thurston, and their menagerie of dogs & cats: Bacon, Meera, Bernard, Ruth, Cody and Brian.

Caleb Chancey

Job Titles:
  • Creative Director
Caleb's extensive experience with many facets of the creative realm makes him a huge asset to our team, and we're proud to have him on board. Caleb loves good conversations, audiobooks and music. He's also a local Birmingham foodie with a passion for cooking. When he's not at work, Caleb stays busy spending time with his wife, Laura, and watching Disney+ with his five children, Rhodes, Coen, Ollie, Emmylou and Solomon.

Cana Grooms

Job Titles:
  • Senior Designer
Cana is a valuable asset to Infomedia's Design team and thrives in her position as Senior Designer. With 5 years of freelance experience, plus previous design roles at several local agencies, Cana is extremely talented - and we couldn't be happier that she landed at Infomedia. During the workday, you'll likely find Cana with an iced latte in-hand, and, on a good day, lunch from Zaza. When she's not designing beautiful websites for our clients, Cana's usually hanging with her favorite people: Andy (her husband), Annie & Willa (5 year old twin daughters) and Arlo (her son, who's 8 months old at the time of writing). Oh, and we can't forget about her dog: a really grumpy Boston terrier named Gisele.

Carla Cleghorn

Job Titles:
  • Website Support Specialist
Carla is proficient in both customer service and web design, making her the perfect fit for her role as Web Support Specialist. Carla attended Arizona State University online and majored in Graphic Information Technology with a focus in front end web design and development, and a secondary focus in art and design. Before joining us at Infomedia, Carla worked full time as a math tutor for ninth graders and as a barista at Starbucks - so it's safe to say that she's well-versed in educating, empowering and providing stellar customer service to our clients. Outside of work, you'll likely find Carla cooking, hiking and caring for her houseplants. (That, or dressing up her and her roommate's cats, Minnie, Rudy, Kevin and George, in costumes and sweaters.)

Carli Doyle

Job Titles:
  • Copy Manager
  • Support Lead
Carli is an expert in problem solving and task delegation, which means she excels in her role as Support Lead. Thanks to her previous experience in the service industry, Carli can think on her feet, and she's used to dealing with a lot of moving parts - making her the perfect fit for a leadership role on our Support team. While she's working, you'll often find Carli with a cup of (very sugary) coffee in hand. Outside of work, Carli loves to enjoy a meal at The Garage Cafe and hang with her two kitties, Rio and Marceline, and her dog, Oreo. We're proud to have Carli's bubbly personality on our team (and we can't imagine the Support office without her massive Squishmallow collection)!

Carrie Rollwagen

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Strategic Planning
Carrie wrote the book on small business - literally. Her book and blog, The Localist, delves into the life of American small business owners, and she uses that experience to help our clients take their businesses to the next level online. Carrie has been copyediting and writing for fifteen years. Her skills were forged in the newsroom at The Birmingham Post-Herald and she's a huge book nerd (she cofounded Church Street Coffee & Books), but a love of paper and ink hasn't stopped her from mastering the digital world as well: She's had a blog pretty much since they existed, and she's run social media for companies big and small. It doesn't stop there - Carrie's also our resident podcast host for One Quick Question with Infomedia, and she hosts her own podcast called The Localist.

Clay Conner

Job Titles:
  • Director of Business Development
  • Partner
Clay has a head for business, but he's also in touch with his inner geek; he transitions seamlessly between the boardroom and the developers' office (with a quick stop at the CrossFit gym in between). He prefers plain English to "geek speak," so he's the perfect choice to translate technobabble into provable goals and ROI, helping our clients incorporate the technologies they need to build their businesses. Clay loves being involved in the Birmingham business community and fostering the abundant potential in the Magic City; his work on the Associate Board of Alabama Policy Institute and with Aspire Movement as a mentor are two of his favorite causes. When he's not at work, you're likely to find him at an Auburn game with his wife and three kids or in one of his favorite Birmingham craft coffee shops.

Daniel Weaver

Job Titles:
  • Senior Developer
Daniel is a man of many aliases. In high school, his nickname was Google because of his knack for remembering every little detail (that's a talent that comes in handy around the office as well). We call him Sprout, because he's worked here at Infomedia since he was an intern - and now we're proud to call him a full-fledged programmer as well. Daniel thrives on his work as a web developer because he loves solving any puzzle, whether it's Sudoku, a Rubik's cube or a website. No matter which title he's going by, it's fair to call Daniel an excellent worker and a valuable asset to your team.

Heather Acker

Job Titles:
  • Client Services
Heather's attention to detail makes her the perfect choice for handling Infomedia's nitty gritty tasks of domain renewal, bookkeeping and billing. Heather has worn a lot of hats in her time - she's previously worked as a fitness instructor, in retail and even at Waffle House! We're so glad she joined our team in 2009 - it's safe to say she's an invaluable asset to Infomedia. When Heather isn't working, you'll often find her traveling with her family, trying new recipes in the kitchen or listening to a podcast. She also loves spending time with her husband, Andrew, and her children Emma, Kate and Max.

Janna Stevens

Job Titles:
  • Head of Project Strategy
Janna Stevens has over a decade of experience as a writer with a background in several facets of marketing, branding, training and consulting, so she's a natural fit to lead Infomedia's Project Strategy department. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in English & Writing Studies from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and she's a lifetime member of Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society. Janna's hobbies are skating (roller derby and park), traveling and dominating in Harry Potter trivia. When she's not out of town or getting bruises from her derby teammates, Janna enjoys unwinding by reading, hanging with her niece Lorelai and taking orders from her cats Rupert and Oz.

Jason Lovoy - President

Job Titles:
  • President
Jason loves finding creative ways to solve client problems, and he's always looking for ways to help clients use technology to get more done while building up the bottom line. Don't ask this guy to read the manual; he believes technology should be intuitive, and you shouldn't need to follow directions to get it right. This belief comes in handy when he's demanding the best user experience for our clients (not so much when putting together Ikea desks). To be happy, all Jason really needs is time with his family: wife, Shawndee, and kids Isaac, Juliette, James and Mary Rose - but a good cup of coffee and a cinnamon roll at Savage's wouldn't hurt.

Jen Tucker

Job Titles:
  • Developer
  • Creative Project Manager
Jen never thought she'd be a Project Manager - in fact, she's a nurse by trade. But when she joined our team, she dove headfirst into project management and absolutely thrives in the role. Jen's passion for taking care of people and making them feel welcome carries into every project she manages. She also goes above and beyond for our team by coordinating all of our parties, decorating for holidays and making sure the office feels like home. When she's not at work, Jen loves spending time with her three children, Nina, Darci and Gabe, and her goldendoodle, Duke, and two cats, Nellie and Cassie. And let's not forget the grandcat, Peggy!

Jimmy McClure

Job Titles:
  • Designer
  • Developer
Jimmy is our resident artist - the custom illustrations he creates for our birthday cards and our annual Christmas party are among the most coveted creations in the office. He brings that aesthetic eye to his work as a UI Developer, taking great care to develop sites that pay attention to both elegant coding and effective design and user experience. From client care to diagnosing broken code to sketching an impressive zombie portrait for a coworker, Jimmy can do it all. When he's not programming or bent over a drawing board, you'll find him reading comics, playing video games or getting worked up over Alabama football.

John Lovoy - CEO

Job Titles:
  • CEO
John's need for speed goes way back - he raced go-karts as a kid, and now he gets around in a souped-up Mini Cooper - so it's no wonder he's known for putting clients on the fast track. Since seeing the potential of Internet development way back in 1995, he's shaped Infomedia into a company that translates the potential of tech into real-life web applications that make companies and organizations efficient and profitable. He loves fast cars, fishing and good food, but his favorite thing is spending time with Wanda, his wife of 54 years, and their three kids (Michael, Jen and Jason) and nine grandkids.

Katey Beck

Job Titles:
  • Producer
  • Studio Manager
If you've ever worked with Katey on a project, you know she gets things done. She's got every detail covered, and she's a fantastic client advocate. That, plus her years of experience in producing and food styling, make Katey perfect as our Producer & Studio Manager. Fun fact: Katey was once prop and creative director for a video shoot of a race between a hot dog and a taco - so we know she's equipped to handle all kinds of projects. Outside of work, you'll often find Katey spending time with her two rescue dogs, Grube and Jessie, and her two cats, Billy and Cleo.

Lana Aaron

Job Titles:
  • Development Project Manager
  • Editor
If you've worked with Lana, you know she's a driven and motivated go-getter - she acquired her MBA at the University of Alabama in 2020, and she puts her business knowledge and organizational skills to work every day as Development Project Manager. Before joining our team at Infomedia, Lana worked in visual merchandising and customer service at Forever 21, as well as customer service at Coca-Cola UNITED. She's a people person, and we're so glad she brought her skills to Infomedia. Outside of work, you can find her hanging out with her kitten Pandora, binge watching her favorite shows, or adding to her growing book collection. Lana is also proud to have hiked a small part of the Appalachian Trail - she's always seeking a new adventure.

Mary Brazeal

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
Mary's a Project Manager at Infomedia - and it's easy to see why the title fits her. She's friendly, outgoing and organized, making her the perfect fit to connect with our clients and take their projects to the finish line. It takes a go-getter to round up all the people and tasks involved in building a website, and Mary's well-equipped for the job. With a bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a master's in Management Information Systems, Mary brings an unique fusion of creative and technical expertise to our Project Strategy team. Outside of work, Mary enjoys spending time with her husband, Mitchell, their son, Clark, and three cats: Seymour, Marlowe and Natasha.

Matt Cross

Job Titles:
  • Senior Developer
From tinkering with his Commodore 64 to being our Senior Web Developer, Matt has grown a passel of software skills over the last two decades that make him a valuable member of the Infomedia team. When he's not in front of a computer screen, Matt might be at The Electric playing D&D or hanging out with his dogs, Charlie and Chico.

Michael Greene

Job Titles:
  • Client Account Manager
Michael is our Client Account Manager, and he's a perfect fit for the role. He's previously worked in Infomedia's Support and Development departments, and those roles equipped him with the insight to succeed in his current role - not only about what a website needs to function well, but also about advocating for clients and setting them up for success. But Michael has done it all - he's worked as a dishwasher at a pie shop, a barista, a voice-over and commercial actor and many things in between… He's even shoveled cow manure for work at one point, and he was a telemarketer for a brief, embarrassing time. (Needless to say, we're glad he landed at Infomedia!) Outside of work, you'll likely find Michael clowning around with his comedy group, Gladys Improv, or teaching improv at Gladys's newly opened Faraway Theater. He's a busy guy, but he always makes time for the important things, too, like spending time with his girlfriend, Erin, his son, Elliott, and their four rabbits: Agnes, Felix, Beatrice and Valentino.

Michael Kierspe

Job Titles:
  • Developer
Michael Kierspe is a Developer at Infomedia, but he serves as an asset in more ways than one. He got his start working with our sister company, Uptick Marketing - first as an intern during his final semester at UAB, and then as a full time team member. He recently joined Infomedia's team (or the dark side, as we like to call it), and we couldn't be happier to have him. During work, you'll find Kierspe snacking on pistachios and La Croix, and when he's not in the office, he loves listening to music, scrolling through Reddit and hanging out with his cat, Appa.

Michael Stuckey

Job Titles:
  • Education & Development Specialist
Stuckey leads by example, staying organized, dedicated and 100% committed to every project and client. He's unfailingly easy-going and friendly - unless you happen to be a broken piece of code or an ailing website, in which case he's a savage ready to attack the problem until it performs perfectly. On Stuckey's desk, you'll find Star Wars memorabilia, a picture of his wife, Ashley (she's a Geometry teacher at Chelsea High School), a tribute to beards and possibly a to-go order from Kool Korner or the taco truck. On his iPhone? He's listening to podcasts, audiobooks and keeping up with his fantasy football team.

Michele Fowler

Job Titles:
  • Account Coordinator
Michele's a client services guru, calming clients with her ability to understand customer needs. Knowledge and experience are her greatest weapons, and it doesn't hurt that she has real experience to back it up, coming to Infomedia after seven years in customer support and training at a software company. She loves her work, and her work loves her back - she met her husband, Daniel, when they worked together in support at her last job, where they fell in love while working side-by-side before marrying. They enjoy time with their family, three dogs and two granddogs.

Mike Donohue

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Manager
Mike joined the Infomedia team as a Project Manager, and his skillset makes him a perfect fit for keeping projects on track and taking them to the finish line. In previous roles, Mike was responsible for brand unification, website design, creative direction, tracking schedules and facilitating event hosting - all skills which equip him to be a fantastic Project Manager. Mike's new to Birmingham (he recently moved here from California), so he's appreciative of any and all restaurant and brewery recommendations. When he's not at work, you'll likely find Mike exploring new places and hanging out with his wife, Erin, and two children, Melody and Evan.

Pamela Sanderson

Job Titles:
  • Director of Account Development
Always ready to jump headfirst into a project, or conceptualize it from the very start, Pam shines in her position as Director of Account Development. She handles recurring clients with finesse by working closely with them to strategize their marketing, digital media and website goals. When she's not saving the world one website at a time, she's probably reading, camping, hanging out with her daughters or enjoying one of her guilty pleasures (enjoying her hammock, traveling and listening to 90s country music).

Patrick Riley

Job Titles:
  • Website Support Specialist
Patrick has worked with a wide variety of different people at different levels. Learning about each person's differing expectations and outlooks of certain situations has taught him that there isn't a "one-size-fits-all" approach with human beings, which is why he strives to listen and learn about people and relate to them personally. This trait makes Patrick the perfect fit for his role as a Website Support Specialist - he goes the extra mile to understand our clients and their goals. When he's not fielding out support requests, you'll most likely find Patrick spending time with his wife, Madi, and his two kiddos, Jax and June.

Paul Bryant

Job Titles:
  • Director of Photography
  • Website Support Developer
Paul Bryant (not Paul "Bear" Bryant, although he hears that one a lot) is our Director of Photography. Paul's been doing freelance photography and videography in Birmingham for over 10 years, and he's a licensed drone pilot too - he's even shot a short documentary for the Birmingham Barons, so we trust his experience with big projects. Paul studied Fine Art at Auburn University, and he's self-taught on the video side. While he's working on projects, you'll likely find Paul with a cup of coffee in hand - we can always count on him to get the afternoon brew ready when 2 pm hits. When he's not working, Paul loves spending time with his wife, Courtney, and their daughters. Paul's family is his world (they don't have any pets yet, but they're considering a cat, or maybe a Furby).

Russell Marbut

Job Titles:
  • Developer
  • Development Project Manager
When he's not wrestling challenging code, Russell's usually in the gym - he's a black belt in jiu jitsu and trains several times a week. You might also see him around Birmingham behind the bar at Paramount, grabbing a cup of Domestique coffee, or enjoying sushi from Bamboo.

Taylor Davis

Job Titles:
  • Project Manager
When you think of the ideal Project Manager, you probably picture someone who's organized, efficient, personable … Well, someone like Taylor Davis! She has all those qualities and more, making her a valuable asset to our Project Strategy team. Taylor has a background in marketing, and she moonlights as a wedding videographer on the weekends - both contributing to her apt understanding of our clients and their needs. But Taylor didn't always dream of being a project manager for a website company - as a child, she dreamed of being an actor, and she keeps that dream alive today by doing freelance acting. While we're not sure how she has the time or energy to excel in so many different arenas, we know younger Taylor would be proud.

Zach Wyatt

Job Titles:
  • Website Support Developer
  • Website Support Specialist
Zach plays a crucial part on our Support team as Website Support Developer. Zach's experience has equipped him well for this role - he's an alumni of The University of West Alabama with a BBA in Computer Information Systems, and he's also previously worked as a Technical Support Operator and Migrations Specialist. While he's working, you'll often find Zach with a cup of coffee (with honey!) in hand, and he also loves a good lunch at Rojo. Outside of work, Zach spends lots of time tending to his axolotls, Atlas and Gummy, and his two cats, Oliver and Sammi.
