MOFFAT MOUNTAIN RESCUE

Moffat Mountain Rescue Team provide search and rescue services to the communities and visitors within our team area. We assist in the search and rescue of the injured, missing or lost at the request of Police Scotland, or for community resilience tasks during periods of major incidents (such as extreme weather events)... The Team is a registered Scottish charity (No.SCO07510). We continue to rely on the generosity of individuals and companies to maintain our equipment and fund training... Moffat Mountain Rescue Team has been coming to the aid of walkers, climbers and members of the local community, from toddlers to the elderly since 1969.
