The Schoolroom provides a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment for all children and young people between Reception and Year 13 who are currently receiving treatment at The Royal Marsden Hospital either as an inpatient or outpatient. Older pupils are often taught in the Hub area of the Teenage Cancer Trust Ward and if a child is too unwell to attend the Schoolroom or is required to stay in isolation we are also able to offer bedside teaching. We work closely with our therapy and medical colleagues and our flexible approach allows children to fit school around their medical needs...
