Adeline Antony

Adeline completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2004 and successfully pursued Post Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy from University of Melbourne (2007). She brings extensive experience from working in Public, Private and Aged Care settings, helping clients restore their lifestyle optimally. Her vibrant and pleasant personality has helped improve the quality of lives of number of elderly clients by implementing fall prevention strategies, strengthening, gait & balance programs. In 2012 Adeline & her husband Jay started Private Practice at Bacchus Marsh & Melton which later became Back In Motion Bacchus Marsh & Melton. Apart from this, Adeline is passionate about enabling women to exercise throughout their pregnancy and following the birth of their baby through ante-natal and post-natal rehabilitation. She enjoys treating women's health issues (mastitis, pelvic girdle pain, incontinence & abdominal muscle separation) by providing education and rehabilitation through Clinical Exercise. She has completed APPI (Pliates Training) Level 1-4 both Mat & Equipment series. She assists in smooth functioning of both the practices. In her spare time, Adeline enjoys cooking & spending time with family.

Alicia Jung

Alicia was born and raised in Toronto, Canada but her journey led to her receiving her Doctor of Physiotherapy from the University of Melbourne. Alicia also has experience with a local football team as a sports trainer, helping provide manual therapy and exercise prescription to prevent and manage sporting injuries.

Amelie Bourrat

He believes in not only getting his patients injury free but ensuring they are equipped with the strategies to return to their activities with confidence. Outside the clinic, Bailey works as a physiotherapist with the Glenroy football club and has a strong interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation. Chris's love for diagnosing and rehabilitating tricky conditions developed in his younger years after sustaining several injuries across his junior football career. In particular, he has a special interest in treating lower back, neck and shoulder pain - all of which are areas he has injured himself and rehabilitated! Chris has completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at RMIT University followed by a Doctor of Physiotherapy at the University of Melbourne - providing him with an extensive background in health and fitness, lifestyle coaching and injury prevention and management. Chris's approach to physiotherapy centres on understanding each client's individual needs, utilising hands-on therapy, exercise prescription and lifestyle changes to ensure each and every client can become the healthiest and best version of themselves. Whether it is elite footballers trying to return to the field or grandparents wishing to play with their grandchildren pain-free, Chris strives to help each client achieve their personal goals. Outside of work, Chris is very active and enjoys going to the gym and playing football and golf on the weekends. Dean Newman

Dean is our practice director and has been working in private practice since graduating from Curtin University in 1997. He joined the Back In Motion group in 2016 after 14 years of self employment, changed names from Fit to Live Physiotherapy and moved into our current premises after successfully outgrowing the premises of the previous 11 years. Dean firmly believes that treating injuries is a partnership between the physio and patient and that both must contribute to successfully manage the broad range of conditions that we see daily. Having attended a broad array of professional development courses over the past 20 years, Dean enjoys nothing more these days than passing on some of that knowledge through mentoring of the other physios at Back In Motion Seville Grove and schedules sessions with all staff members on a regular basis as well as leading a range of in house professional development that is run weekly. Dean's sporting background covers a diverse range from triathlon in his younger years right through to bodybuilding more recently. He will happily watch just about any sport with a keen focus on understanding the demands that each sport places on the participant. When he isn't at work, Dean is most likely chasing his three young boys around on the weekends and watching them play sport.

Dennis Phan

Dennis has just completed his Doctor of Physiotherapy degree at Bond University on the Gold Coast, Queensland in 2021. He brings his knowledge in exercise rehabilitation having worked in orthopedics, cardiorespiratory and stroke rehabilitation, where he helped clients restore their function as a student physiotherapist. He is enthusiastic in developing his manual therapy and exercise prescription skills for strength and conditioning. He has a special interest in lower back pain, hip, knee, ankle injuries, and mental health. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys aquascaping, playing with his dog, visiting new places to eat and occasionally working out at the gym.

Deryl Ng

Deryl completed her Bachelor of Applied Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice at La Trobe University. Her passion for physiotherapy sparks from her interest in biology and movement, as well as having had to go through physiotherapy rehab herself as an athlete. Deryl has a strong interest in hands & climbing injuries. She is a veteran in sport climbing & bouldering and has won numerous competitions since 2010. Besides being a physiotherapist, she is also head coach of Grit Climbing and the Victorian State Climbing Team. On her off days, you can find her sneaking off to rock climb in the Grampians!

Dhanushka Munasinghe

Dhanushka completed his Business degree in the year of 2014 and began his professional career working few different roles over the past years. Dr Larry Sakellarides

Larry graduated from La Trobe University as a Podiatrist completing his double degree with a Bachelor of Applied Science/Master of Podiatric Practice. Prior to this, he also has completed a Bachelor of Exercise & Sports Science degree, Remedial Massage Diploma and a Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Myotherapy) degree. Larry's clinical experience has spanned over 12 years now and he also has over 9 years of academic experience as a Remedial/Myotherapy teacher. His clinical work has seen him across the private sector working in multiple clinics, with major elite sporting teams and Olympic level athletes. He has also developed experience in the public sector including leading hospitals and community health centres. Larry currently also works closely with the NDIS and aged care demographics outside of My FootDr. The combination of Larry's long experience has made him a well rounded and holistic practitioner who believes that patient centred care, communication and education are amongst the most important aspects of a sound management plan. Larry's podiatry interests include but are certainly not limited to dermatological, biomechanical, high risk feet (wound management), surgical and paediatrics. Larry loves to draw on all of his modalities when assessing/treating to ensure his patients receive all that he can provide. Larry believes that your feet can be often neglected despite literally holding you up all day and there is a strong relationship between concerns in your feet and the rest of your body. Larry prides himself on providing options to choosing the best management plan as supported by evidence and will always work with you to choose as conservative as possible. Larry loves to travel and embrace all that the world has to offer with his soon to be wife and generally has a strong sense of adventure and risk taking but just as much loves to have family time at home around delicious food and his dogs.

Ellie Gavalas

Ellie's clinical interests involve treating and preventing a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions including the neck, back and sporting related injuries. Growing up in a big Greek family, Ellie loves being surrounded by people. With a strong passion for helping and empowering others, she channels her energy into providing the best possible care for each and every client. Ellie values the importance of living a happy and active life and combines her professional physiotherarpy along with a professional AFLW player for North Melbourne Kangaroos. Apart from her daily receptionist duties being a full timer at the malvern store, she also handles invoicing errors, remmitances, debt collection and other financial and administrative work. Outside of work Anna enjoys being outdoors with her partner and dog cruising and travelling to different places. Frank Reynolds

Frank graduated from Curtin University in 2018 and joined the Back In Motion Seville Grove team shortly thereafter. Outside of work, Frank plays hockey and cricket and loves catching up with the boys after games. When he's not playing the sport he enjoys watching cricket, footy, and F1, and taking his dog (horse) for a walk.

Ian Tran

Ian brings over 20 years of physiotherapy experience to the team at Braybrook. Having worked both internationally and domestically in both public and private settings, he has experienced a wide breadth of the physiotherapy industry. Ian is currently the head physiotherapist at Maribyrnong Sports Academy and works closely with the rehabilitation team and the athletes at the school to help them achieve their peak athletic performance. His main passions include paediatric sports medicine, clinical management of acute sporting injuries, rehabilitation for post-operative clients and treating cervico-genic headaches. He has worked as a physiotherapist at the Australian National Hockey Championships, Homeless World Cup soccer event, Nike Chance Football Academy, National University Games as well as other professional sporting events. He has previously served on the board of Australian Physiotherapy Association and the SOS Foundation, which is a charity foundation set up to improve the health outcomes for marginalised individuals across Australia. He is excited about teaching his two children how to surf, playing the guitar with his wife, the culinary delights of Footscray and the Western Bulldogs (AFL).

Jay Chidananda

Jay is the Practice Director and Senior Physiotherapist at Back In Motion Bacchus Marsh & Melton. He completed his Masters in Orthopaedics, Sports & Manual Physiotherapy from University of South Australia in 2008. He has over a decade experience working in private practice & various sporting teams in SA & Vic. Jay started Bacchus Marsh & Melton Private practice in 2012, and in 2016 re-branded both the practices to Back In Motion Bacchus Marsh & Melton. Jay is proficient in Manipulative Physiotherapy as well as Holistic Rehabilitation. He has great diagnostic skills, and employs a range of therapeutic techniques in managing most difficult & complex conditions. Jay has special interest in treating Headaches, Cervical & Shoulder injuires. He oversees overall practice management & mentors his team on weekly basis to keep them up to date with recent evidence & research.

Jeziah Sundqvist Physiotherapist Since graduating from UniSA in 2005, Jez has honed his clinical skills to become an impressive clinician with a passion for best practice. He has worked for 13 years in regional South Australia, initially in public health prior to 11 years at a large Private Practice. This involved close work with a number of other medical professionals. He has earned the respect of all age groups through an understanding and collaborative approach; he always goes the extra mile for those in his care and helps patients maintain their wellbeing with exercise, gym programs and workplace assessments. Jez has conducted presentations on Workplace Manual Handling and Ergonomics, the Prevention of Sporting Injuries and Chronic Pain. In 2013 he was promoted to a management role which he held on top of a clinical load until moving to Bacchus Marsh in 2018. Jez will take an active role in mentoring new Physio staff in the Back in Motion organization. His enthusiasm and drive for new initiatives within his work continues to impress.

Katia Tavolaro

Katia is a former member of the Women's National Training Centre and the Victorian National women's youth soccer teams (Melbourne Victory). Outside of the clinic, Katia enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking her toddler to the zoo, watching sport and exploring Melbourne's food and wine scene.

Kaye Pajaron

Kaye Pajaron Physiotherapy Kaye completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy at Cebu Doctors' University in the Philippines. She is passionate with physiotherapy and thinks that the joy in helping clients recover and get back on track is immeasurable. Her passion comes from growing up with her younger brother who was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, who had gone through consistent physiotherapy sessions growing up. Her interest in physiotherapy is broad-from musculoskeletal, congenital, pediatric, neurologic, and sports injury management. Kaye also loves to spend time with her husband and daughter, do yoga, and cycle on her free time.

Krishna Prakash

Having provided services to Victorian state representative teams at nationals in Soccer and Hockey, Krishna is also currently working his way through a Masters of Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University. Krishna has opened Back In Motion Malvern with Shiv and spends most of his time treating at the Malvern clinic. If you are a previous patient and looking for him - that is where he'll be found. Krishna has recently become a proud father to a baby girl, Siya. He can't stop talking about her and looks forward to the different challenges fatherhood brings. Krishna studied Physiotherapy at Melbourne University and brings 18 years of clinical experience to Back In Motion Malvern. Zeus joined the team in February 2021. He has recently finished his Bachelor of Science (Human Biology) and is now completing his Masters of Occupational Therapy at Curtin University. Outside of work and Uni, Zeus coaches outdoor soccer, plays indoor soccer with his friends, and enjoys Ballroom dancing.
