Adam has been a Trainer for over twenty years. Married with two sons, Adam is an ex-Running champion miler who taught voice and impact work to many of today's television and film celebrities including Louise Redknapp, Louis Spence and Claire Sweeney.

Andrew Jones

Job Titles:

Andrew is a Business Psychologist Coach and Facilitator and a core associate member of the Emerge Design and Delivery team. He has extensive experience of delivering into Emerge's key clients and has the ability to build relationships fast. He is a well-informed individual with expert knowledge in several disciplines including Change Management, Leadership, Leadership of Change and Executive/talent development and Team development and performance. He has an international career and works across a number of sectors, majoring in the Defence Sector for Emerge.

Claire Croft

Claire Croft is an executive coach and consultant. Claire's main focus is on helping her clients to create high performing leadership teams, develop leaders (both current and future) and establish the right cultural conditions for talent to thrive. She works in close partnership with her clients developing strategic solutions, which remove the barriers to performance and achieve lasting improvements. Claire works with a range of organisations but has a particular interest in working with creative organisations and individuals and marketing departments.

David Festenstein

David has always been passionate about language and Communication. A very empathetic person, kind, compassionate and avid listener. Always been a very keen traveler and in his younger days, David traveled to Greece where he taught himself Greek and spent a total of ten years living there working as an English teacher and later in the travel industry on the Greek Islands. In his mid-50's, David made a miraculous recovery from a debilitating stroke and learnt to walk again. As a result he became a patient expert and spoke at many conferences, including at The University of Oxford where he spoke about his "language of recovery" in hospital and how it led to him being back with family again living a normal life. He practices gratitude on a daily basis acknowledging that he so grateful to be alive and in good health. He encourages others to cherish the moments of each and every day at the same time as realizing their future goals. David is a trained Communication Specialist and Master Practitioner in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). He is also an NLP trained executive Coach and was on the Executive Coaching Panel at Warwick Business School. He is also a veteran New Business development expert in starting C-Level conversations from cold.

Dawn Newson

Dawn is the mainstay of the Emerge team. Having been with us for over 20 years, she knows everything there is to know about us! Dawn is the first point of contact for our clients, and organises all the dates and facilitators for our courses. She also oversees the course administration and logistics with her team and is our Office Manager. Outside of Emerge Dawn enjoys spending time with her family, knits clothes for a premature baby unit and has been known to escape on one or two City breaks!

Debs Metcalf

Debs is a Graduate member of the CIPD and licensed to deliver TSA, SDI and Thomas International Personality Profiling.

Deryl Dix

Deryl is a learning and development professional with an established track record of delivering on wellbeing in the workplace and in leadership development. Deryl works independently as a facilitator, trainer, and consultant. Deryl is a qualified and experienced counsellor and in recent years much of the focus of her work has been around mental health in the workplace. This has included managing stress, mental health awareness and building resilience. In this capacity she has designed and delivered several large-scale programmes for Airbus, IPO (Intellectual Property Office) and CSL (Civil Service Learning).

Gillian Jones-Williams - Founder, Managing Director

Gillian is the founder and Managing Director of Emerge Development Consultancy. She is also an author, a motivational speaker, a Master Executive Coach, and a passionate supporter of Women's Development. Gillian was one of the early adopters of coaching in organisations and has co-authored 2 books on the topic - 50 Top Tools for Coaching (now in its 5 th edition) and How to Create a Coaching Culture (CIPD 2 nd edition). She works with many organisations to support them in creating a coaching culture, particularly linked to inclusivity and engagement. She also published ‘Locked Down but Not Out' in early 2021 - a diary of the Pandemic and the struggle to save the business when Covid-19 shut down training rooms. Thankfully Emerge survived the crisis and is flourishing again, and all proceeds of the book go to the bereaved families of NHS workers. After working with so many amazing clients for 25 years at Emerge, she is still supremely passionate about what she does and she loves a challenge - working with boards that need to untangle their dynamics and get focused on their vision, individuals who need support with their behaviour or understanding where their careers are going, or organisations who are seeking transformation or culture change. She has led many D & I initiatives to help organisations strategise, but also in times where situations have happened that meant emphasis needed to be put on specific groups of people i.e. delivering Sexual Harassment training in the music industry, #BlackLivesMatter and more recently delivering Male Allies workshops for Women's Safety. Gillian is the founder of the award-winning RISE Empowering Women's Development Programme, which is delivered around the world, including Saudi Arabia. She was also nominated as one of the top 100 UK female entrepreneurs in the f:Entrepreneur #ialso100 2020 campaign, which is a celebration of inspirational businesses led by women in the UK. In her spare time Gillian loves keeping fit, skiing, gardening and live music, but most importantly spending time with her children and beautiful granddaughter.

Jane Viljoen

Jane is a Multi Award Winning Coaching Psychologist and the only Executive Coach in the UK qualified with her unique credentials. A member of Forbes Coaches Council, she has a strong affiliation to positive psychology and an expertise in helping people to reach their potential. Her coaching style is influenced by the belief that everyone can improve their level of performance, and life satisfaction by applying tried and tested behavioural change techniques. Jane utilises the practice of Conversational Intelligenceâ„¢ which uses emerging research from neuroscience to increase challenge, engagement and to build organisational and interpersonal trust, helping leaders and teams reach their true potential. She is highly skilled at facilitating her clients to reach their goals through use of practical and accessible psychological content and has an expertise in communication skills coaching.

Marcia Wright

Marcia joined the Emerge team in August 22, as part-time Finance Manager, she is the go-to person at Emerge for all things financial.

Nicola Masters

Nicola joined Emerge in Autumn 2021 and assists Dawn with the course administration. She prepares course materials, organises course and trainer logistics and schedules the virtual training sessions. Outside of Emerge Nicola dedicates her time to her family. She enjoys crafting and going for long walks with her beagle puppy.

Rob Bartlett

Rob is a consultant, programme designer, account manager and facilitator at Emerge which means he is involved in pretty much everything Emerge does, except money and dates!

Rosie Ranganathan

Rosie is a qualified Executive Coach and is an ACC member of the ICF. She works predominantly one to one with people and is passionate about holding the space for her clients to do some quality thinking and reflection. Dancing in the moment and working to the client's agenda are what helps set Rosie apart as a coach. Her style is outcome focused so clients will get a clear sense of how they can move forward.

Steve Mustill-King

Steve has extensive experience of delivering programmes to large organisations globally and experience across a range of diverse sectors including Aerospace and Defence, Oil & Gas, Nuclear Decommissioning, Utilities, Logistics and Construction. Steve worked with Emerge as an associate for over 15 years, before joining to take up the position as our Global Head of Programmes. He has developed and delivered courses in high potential leadership, strategic thinking, influencing, negotiating as well as project, risk and category management amongst others. He regularly delivers programmes on leadership and management, transformational change, leading high performing teams and negotiating and influencing. Steve also has extensive experience of delivering programmes in the Middle East and Asia which have won several awards. In his spare time Steve is a qualified Osteopath who delivers lectures on Patient Practitioner Communication and Differential Diagnosis to students in Poland, Denmark, France and Russia. He has three teenage daughters and plays guitar in a 6-piece band.
