More than half of IChemE's members are based in the UK. We have offices in London and Rugby, and a busy line-up of local member groups... We play an active role in a range of regional chemical engineering federations including the European Federation of Chemical Engineering, the Australian and New Zealand Federation of Chemical Engineers and the Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering. We are also a member of the World Chemical Engineering Council... Founded in 1922, the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) is the UK based and internationally recognised qualifying body and learned society for chemical, biochemical and process engineers. We exist to advance chemical engineering's contribution for the benefit of society.
