Agnes Fletcher is a Diversity and Inclusion Consultant who has advised more than 150 organisations across the private, public and third sectors during the past 13 years. Prior to that, she was Director of Policy and Communications for a non-departmental public body. She also has significant governance experience. Described by the Equality and Human Rights Commission on her appointment as statutory independent reviewer as "a widely respected expert on equality", Agnes is well-networked and influential in the field of equality law, and EDI policy and practice. Agnes is the author of 'Inclusive technical and vocational education and training for young disabled people' for the British Council (July 2018), the co-author of 'Tackling disability and health-related barriers to progression within the Civil Service' on behalf of the Cabinet Office, and co-author of 'Disability Rights Commission: from civil rights to social rights', published in the Journal of Law and Society.

Charlotte Adam-Owen

As Insight Manager, Charlotte manages GCL's Experience Reality Insight Panel, a nationwide forum made up of people from different backgrounds and with different circumstances. Charlotte works with clients to arrange and facilitate appropriate opportunities for the client to gain insightful feedback on access and inclusion, for example through mystery visits, focus groups and consultation. Charlotte also provides general business support for GCL. She is the GCL Bid Manager, responsible for managing tendering processes and also undertakes both internal and client research projects, incorporating online and telephone-based research.

David Owen

Job Titles:

As GCL's Head of Access and Inclusive Design, David is an experienced NRAC registered Access Auditor who graduated in Building Management from the University of the West of England. David has extensive experience of conducting Access Audits and Access Design Appraisals, developing Access Strategies and Design Guides and devising and delivering Access and Inclusive Design training across all sectors. Types of environment audited include: museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas, universities, managed estates, ancient monuments, UNESCO sites, scheduled monuments, listed buildings, large performance venues, pen parkland, leisure fields, conference centres, offices, hotels, stately homes, community institutes, stadia and historic ships.

Jenny Bevan

As Office Manager, Jenny is responsible for developing communication protocols, streamlining administrative procedures, accounting and finance and task delegation. She is well organized, flexible and enjoys the administrative challenges of supporting an office of diverse people. Jenny is a former Retail Head Office Merchandiser.

Kate Dempster

Kate Dempster is a values driven leader with 20 years of skills, knowledge and experience in leading culturally diverse teams around shared strategic and operational goals in the United Kingdom and internationally. Kate spent much of her career working for British Council, the UK's international Cultural Relations organisation. She has led, implemented and evaluated strategic frameworks and programmes in the areas of social justice, and in equity, diversity and inclusion. This includes working with organisations to improve policies, processes, practices, and change decision-making and behaviours for inclusive organisational cultures; as well as working on over £20 million of international programmes in UK, MENA, East, Central and South Asia, Americas and Europe with public, social, community and private sector clients and partners. Kate holds a Fellowship (FInstLM) in Strategic Leadership and Management in Equity, Inclusion and Organisational Diversity, from the Institute of Educational and Social Equity and a Masters in Public Administration (MPA) specialising in leadership in change. She is an experienced intercultural facilitator, who loves designing learning programmes and supporting groups to identify their own solutions to global and local changes for a fairer, more inclusive world.

Mik Scarlet

After working in the media as an award-winning presenter, broadcaster and journalist Mik Scarlet retrained to become one of the UK's leading access and inclusion experts, specialising in the built environment, inclusive design, accessibility within the public transport sector, inclusive practice and policy in employment, and accessibility and the online environment. Mik delivers training and lectures in inclusive design, inclusive service, A11Y and disability awareness. He has worked all over the UK and Europe, as well as advising projects in the USA and Australia. Mik is proud of the work he does to ensure the future is accessible and inclusive, and of being part of the Goss Consultancy Ltd team. Mik has been disabled since birth.

As a facilitator and learning development specialist, Victoria uses her enthusiasm, passion and detailed knowledge of diversity and inclusion issues to inspire, engage and encourage everyone's participation and help deliver real positive results. Victoria has worked with a diverse range of businesses across different industries from global technology companies, engineering firms, retail to regional government bodies. Victoria is an Associate member for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
